So we have been speculating that B and S bought drugs on Monday night @ Billie's moms house. Maybe from her, maybe from her connection.

But that has always made wonder, like you, if Billie knew that Hailey was missing at that point.

I don't think so. I think Billie shared in many of Shawn's hobbies, but I don't believe she knew just how extreme he had taken it. And if the child *advertiser censored* goes back a few years,it may indicate that Shawn chose Billie BECAUSE of young Hailey. He always knew where he was going with this sick fantasy, but he pulled Billie into the edges of it to make it even more extreme.

I think Shawn snuck into Hailey's room late Sunday night. Messed around with her, drugged her. Then he rushed home Monday morning and waited for her to wake up, to see if she remembered and was angry. She did and she was, so he took her away from the house, and came home to tie up loose ends when DD and friend arrived home.

So when he went to pick up Billie, who called him earlier than usual for a ride home, he said let's go score some chit, because he needed to keep her preoccupied to give him another day to clear up details. [ he had help from friends imo]

I think Hailey was being sexually abused by SA for a long period of time, and I think BD knew about it, but chose to look the other way, as she still does.
That's my opinion based on the Christmas pic with Hailey, SA, and BD, plus the witnessess stating that Hailey was desperate to live elsewhere, away from BD and SA.

Was Billie staying with her or vice-versa? In one of the interviews, BD told her momma not to answer the door for whatever reason. Is there a link somewhere?

I believe it was the PHONE she said not to answer.

Has there been any RECENT indication in the MSM that SA has an atty? There certainly was not any response from an atty after his bombshell press conference. Wonder if he even has one now.. imo

He said he did yesterday when asked about the images. Nancy Grace show tried to get a statement from said attorney who failed to respond.

I have wondered about that too. Hailey's body language and her way of dressing down, kind of hiding her body, made me wonder if she was being molested by him. Girls going through puberty while being abused are not always proud of or happy about their new womanly bodies. They often wear sweatshirts and they kind of slouch, the way she seemed to in her school video.

I am not sure if he actually molested her before that week, but i think he was harassing her, and being crude and touching her and talking in a threatening and sexual way. Things she could not prove.

She had slept in the livingroom for 2 years. I wonder whose idea it was to buy her a tv for her room for Christmas? Odd coincidence that within days of moving back into her bedroom to sleep, that she goes missing. I think he wanted the privacy of her bedroom and that he finally assaulted her for the first time Sunday night, or early Monday, because it was the first time he had the opportunity where she was in her bedroom and DD was gone too.

Snyder, TEXAS -- The Scurry County Sheriff's Office confirms to KTXS News that Connie Ostrander, the grandmother of missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn, has been arrested on drug charges.

I have to agree with ya concerned. BJD will sit on her hands until the devil comes to take her. It's all me, me, me, me (or make that mine, mine, mine, mine).

Not sure if you caught NG last night, but Marc K made that very clear -- that BJD is not that naive.

KLAAS: Well, first of all, we have to be very clear that we`re dealing now with multiple crime scenes. Not only is Hailey Dunn missing, but that computer that was taken from the mother`s house is a crime scene. That flash drive that has child *advertiser censored* on it is a crime scene, as is the CD. And all of these people are involved in this.

Klaas Kids is very clear. We tell every family of a missing child, number one, to tell the truth, number two, cooperate with law enforcement, and number three, come clean about absolutely everything. That was not followed in this case, and the repercussions are grand. They`re huge because everything that`s going on now really is detracting from the one goal that everybody should be focusing on, which is finding Hailey Dunn. Billie should be ashamed of herself for holding back information that she`s had all of this time.

My guess is those lovely and kind donations will stop pouring in. I hope whomever donated the van comes and takes it back! Not sure about the grant, but I no longer think she would or should be eligible to receive any funds from that. Not that I want to punish her or anything....oh wait, I do

It has always disturbed me that BD did not contact her own mother when looking for Hailey that afternoon. Was it really out of the realm of possibility that a young girl could be spending time with Grandma? Or did CO already know something was amiss?

Great question. We have heard so little from the extended families of these two, BD & SA. I haven't followed enough cases but is this normal for the families to just remain hidden from the media or searches and vigils? There is a missing child, their flesh and blood. SA mother should be standing up for Hailey too, as a mother she would have had some kind of involvement with Hailey, step-grandma-ish, family dinners, school events??? There are alot of adults family members who are in the area, why are they so quiet?

If either Kaine Horman or Desiree Young has parents, I have yet to see them. It's pretty rare to see grandparents involved, Anthonys and Cummings-Croslin are atypical IMO.
We heard from Billie's brother, and Clint's mom... It seems a little odd that Shawn's family hasn't said anything to the effect of hoping for the best outcome for Hailey.

We pretty much agree. I also thought of the paranoia many meth users experience. Meth is nasty and turns people into narcissistic monsters, IMO. It lasts longer than coke. You probably can't afford coke if you have masks to buy, so Meth maybe. I can see SA taking it and taking his whole life apart like a lawn mower. But BD must have been knocked out, and dazed and confused.

Meth is short for methamphetamine. It is made in meth house labs by people who are not chemists. They use Drain-O and all kinds of crazy stuff. If it is not mixed properly, the labs will explode. Very dangerous stuff. Comes out as a crystal-like powder - it can be snorted or injected intravenously. It is very, very addictive.
