July 16 - Yuri Melich
arrived at Anthony home 3:51am reviewed written stmt and then tried to speak with her at 4:11am. YM went into spare bdrm (CA says spare bedrm with open door and she could hear - and was intimidating - although there is a recording - GA disagrees).

4 ramirez considerations -

record reflects detective came to home as result of call by patrol officers. It was YM goal to find Caylee. Was looking for evidence to find Caylee and that was his focus in questioning - ZFG not ICA

Questioning in home less cohersive than station. YM asked ICA to go with him in unmarked car for ZFG locations. ICA was being cooperative and wanting to help (per YM and CA)- being treated as witness by YM. She was seated in front seat and went on her own power. She told him where to go. ICA and CA assisted YM got phone records and pics from computer and gave them to YM. YM gave ICA phone back and told her to use it and left home.

noon July 16th after phone conversation Det Allen and Wells arrived to pick up ICA to go to Universal - to find info to find Caylee. Wanted to verify information provided by ICA and to determine if there was something YM overlooking - YM copuldn't fathom why mother of missing child would lie to him. Det Allen and Wells picked up ICA - ICA freely left per CA. She sat in front uncuffed got in on her own. ICA directed Det Allen to go to emplyee entrance and was ICA that engaged in conversation with Universal employees so she could get in (Detectives were passive). ICA in control of situation - Universal employees did not know where she was going and were not in charge of situation. Only once in location that ICA at dead end - she created situation. It is there they go in conference room - pics submitted to court. Interview/interrogation at very beginning officers tell her door is not locked and only in there for privacy and they want to know what is going on (she just told them she brought them there for no reason). Before any answers from ICA Det. Allen tellls ICA - you are here willingly because you want us to help you -yes; you want us to help find your daughter - yes. Even if there were 3 adult males in room she can hold her own - and she did. Questions were not forceful - they were frustrated because there is missing child 32 days behind the gun and time is of the essence and they want to have accurate information. Little accusation of her doing anything but lying. At end of interview ICA apologizes for giving them runaround. Interview a little more than an hour. ICA then agrees to take them to look at ZFG pics in parking garage at Universal.

No statement that State wants to use from Orange County Sheriff's Office. She has a visitor's badge. Took picture of her smiling - indicating she is comfortable. Best evidence that ICA knew if she was in custody was in phone call on evening to parents on July 16th - "I got arrested on a f'ing whim today". Suggesting that ICA felt LE actions were impulsive and in no way did ICA believe that they were in custody earlier.
