I know times are tough and the price of gas is really expensive, but this guy says he's saving for a MAC. My son just bought one and it was over 1500.00. Couldn't he have swiped the cost of a gallon of gas from his savings? Or the price of bus fare......He just doesn't sit right with me.........

Maybe the jury pay $30. a day x 8 wks would pay for his MAC.

They didn't decide -- they went straight to discussing the process for the rest of the jury selection.

Now what happens if the SA strikes this juror? HH can't blame the DT for that one. Both sides need the opportunity to use their strikes. I really wish he hadn't set such a short time frame on seating the jury.

I don't get why this is an issue... they are so close and the DT only has one left. I can't imagine they won't be able to get one more plus alternates by the end of business tomorrow.

I really like this courts bailiffs and guards...they are doing a very good job, on their toes and very professional.

Seriously, my tummy is all percolating now! It's just horrible to consider that the defense could get away with such an obvious ploy to delay the inevitable...

And CJBP mentioned that since yesterday, he has been paying for hotel rooms back in Orlando. Hope the media runs with that football like we've never seen.

HHJP should ask prosecution whether strike (if no answer), then ask defense. If defense wants to use last stike, move on...

If defense does NOT, we have TWELVE JURORS...

I need to remember that it took almost 8 weeks for a jury to be selected for the Scott P. trial.
Patience is a virtue and my goodness our HHJP has the patience of a dang saint.

I disagree about this pj being proud of his life. I believe he holds grudges and lives in the past. Writing a play/book "You took my life away" about his HS sweetheart sure doesn't tell me that he's proud of his life. Sounds more like living in the past and holding a grudge or at least feeling sorry for himself and constantly wondering what life would have been had his HS sweetheart NOT broke his heart.

I don't get any bad vibes from him, he is very responsive to LDB, I don't feel he wanted the families dirty linen washed in public, so he asked for a private sidebar. I don't blame him.
The fact that JB jumped up to object, told me he wasn't pleased with the connection LDB was making with this juror.

YES! I agree with that, I would feel the same way!!! Some things should be kept private.
