This may have already been answered for you..but Yes it had been scheduled for Saturday 1PM..however it has been cancelled by the DT. I tend to think they know it isnt going to fly with this judge..especially IF they thought they could expose George's medical records to the world...Common Sense prevailed I think!!

What was cancelled? Both the new witness and the med records? Or just one? If so, which one? If the witness motion was cancelled, maybe that shows DT does read here, as I and some others were commenting that allowing this might open the door for the reaction tape to be brought in.

IF, and this is a big IF for me, Casey takes the stand, won't the DT want to practice and practice her testimony with her? Today the State said they might conclude with their case in 2 weeks, around June 17. They also have trial sessions Sat. a.m. So then won't the DT have to meet with her, I assume in the jail, in the evenings or on Sundays coming up very soon? If it has to be in the jail, how long before we are able to see her visitor logs. I would assume if she starts getting evening/Sunday visits from someone, it might be to practice-up on her testimony. Does the public get access to the jail logs in time to be able to pinpoint this? I am sure ICA would think she does not need to "practice" as she will be telling the-whole-truth-and-nothing-but-the truth, but I imagine they would still want to meet with her and give her potential questions. Any thoughts on when they would do this, and if we could be "alerted' by checking the jail logs? or are the logs released in a timeframe that would not alert us to this? Thanks.

JVM used the same highlight tape. they missed a lot of the personal references. like me, myself and my.

It was totally awesome and I really think the state should do the same with large poster transcriptions of her own words in closing. I REALLY think they should do that. It is so revealing. No mistaking what those words mean.

The way I see it, George, Cindy and Lee could not emotionally disconnect from Casey along as she held Caylee's whereabouts secret.
Running them around gave her a thrill to a boring day in jail.
It kept them feeding her snack account, visiting her in jail, showing up for her hearings. Emotional blackmail as I see it. (also known as dangling the carrot)
She did give out hints, (close to home) they didn't pick up on for a long time.

I haven't really been following this case and after hearing today's witnesses I have some observations/questions that I hope you guys can shed some light on. First off, based on JB's opening statement's he gave the indication that George Anthony somehow got rid of Caylee's body after she drowned. I assume, IF he's going to go down this road, he's going to argue that GA drove Caylee's body to the woods. IF this is his game plan, why is he making such a fuss about the hair and the other evidence in the car? Is he only going to argue that the hairs fond were Caylee's IF George was the one driving but NOT if Casey is considered the driver?

I don't see how this helps his credibility. If you're going to argue accident and cover up, I assume you have a solid theory about what exactly happened. Right now, he seems to be argueing with the witnesses instead of building a solid case - a solid argument as what could be considered an alternative scenario.

Back to my question, is there anything tying only Casey to the car? Was it only in her posession during that time? Did anyone ever see anyone other than Casey driving that car?

OFF TOPIC: The jury system in the United States is fascinating. It's so fascinating (for a lack of another word) how trials are decided by people who don't really know much about law, criminals or psychology. In my opinion, it places a HUGE burden on the prosecution.

Do you mean did KC want her purse and possibly the key to be noticed by someone looking in the car? Its been suggested that KC was hoping the car would be stolen.

I have always thought this! IMO ICA left those things in the car in hopes that the car would be stolen and she could say she was car jacked (or something like that) and Caylee was in the car. That way when the car was found someone else would be to blame.

new witness Dr. Sally Karioth, Hearing to show "good cause" is postponed until AFTER the Defense gives the State and Judge her REPORT, and AFTER the State takes her deposition next week.

George medical records Hearing will be Saturday at 1:00.

Trial will continue Saturday at 9:00am until 1:00pm.

Yikes WholeLottaRosie...I posted that so long ago> but Im not sure just exactly what cancelled hearing or motion hearing they are speaking to..So I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow..DT keep making motions and most hearings are scheduled outside of Courtroom times ..so either before start in AM or before PM times..All I know is that motion for the Grief nurse who has never seen or interviewed Casey is a no go on that level..but put that together with George's medical files..I hummmm'd and believe they are trying to bring in "Consciousness of guilt testimony of George thru this "Grief Councillor"..who I assume dealt with George post "Suicide Attempt" episode??

It is all a huge question mark right now..Im only reading the tea leaves at this point..So no definitative answer for ya there..I apologize:seeya:

Seriously, if I were to believe the accidental death story line (never, ever), I would still believe ICA deserves the DP just for what she put her family through.

The videos show such cruelty, such depravity - now watching her watch herself, adds a whole new dimension. You can see the little smiles when she likes what she hears, the smirks and disgust for her parents who were in so much pain.

The 'what's she crying about?' then pretending to cry herself and say she only lasted a minute. :sick:

Welcome - great pick up on the car and George driving it to dispose of Caylee's body. Great sleuthing! But the fact that Caylee's hair with a death band is yet to be dealt with probably tomorrow or Monday.

American Justice system calls for a jury or our peers who get to listen to both sides present their case and then make a decision. Lots of people do believe professional jurors would be the way to go - others do not.

It was extremely interesting to watch and listen to the jury selection in this case. They were selected from a county about 120 miles or so from where the trial is being held. They are sequestered and will be away from their families and jobs for about 2 months. They will have scheduled visits on Sundays.

Hopefully your exams will be over and you will be able to watch more and see the next 2 weeks of the prosecutions side then onto the defense side and then a verdict.
