I have been wondering if Casey will speak to MSM when this is over and she is on Death Row (probably)? Does anyone think she will eventually speak out when this all dies down? I know some in jail won't speak out and other's thrive for MSM. Which do you think she will be?

I know Casey is all me me me so I bet she speaks to MSM to keep the camera on "her".

She'll be on 48 Hours - they always interview death row or LWOP prisoners, plus they already did 2 segments about the case.

ETA: JB will be happy to make an appearance on 48 Hours to tell the story all over again and get his face back on TV.

MSM- Maintaining her innocence the whole way.

I just read something about sociopaths that says the behavior of a sociopath comes into the existence around adolescence. Why would that be?

That may be the time when they do something significant that identifies them as somehow not "normal" but often, when they (specialists) go back and look at a sociopath, they began their behavior much younger.

I honestly believe that some people are simply born "that way". I don't like to think that a young child can be "evil" but I do think it is possible, and they become more so as they get older.

I believe that it is entirely possible that they are born that way. That their brains are wired very differently. I don't think that their actions are always malicious. I think a lot of it can be attributed to the fact that they can't feel true sadness, so they have no idea when they are hurting you just how much it hurts. I also don't think that in the long run they care, but the inability to empathize with anything feeling related really puts them at a social disadvantage.

But I sure don't think she had any idea of trying to get a job. :floorlaugh:

Something just occurred to me.
Maybe she was trying to set Amy up. Like:
Amy kidnapped Caylee, did to her what ICA really did, stole ICA's car and forgot to take her resumes when she ditched it.

Sounds crazy, but I kinda' think she knew Amy wouldn't want to be her BFF when she got home and realized ICA had stolen all her money.

ITA! In fact, I wrote the very same thing a few pages before your post. GMTA!:seeya:

I am still so curious about her childhood pets.
Does anyone else remember when CA stated in the visit video about this is the biggest thing that has ever happened to their family .. bigger than losing a car .. or death of a pet ( can't recall exact words)

but seeing she placed her in the "Local Pet Cemetery" then saying that, I just wonder how many pets has Casey lost?

O/T... What was ICA referring to when she told her dad something to the effect of: That's why I coudn't stay there that last night... without Caylee there. ? I can't place where this fits in. TIA

Why can they bring 100 witnesses to say the car stank like decomposition. No problem with that, but they arn't allowed to let the jurors smell the car or the piece of car trunk carpet sealed in a jar.

OMG ... just let them smell it and move on.

sorry for the rant

Is it just me or do none of the links on the page work? I am most curious about the "success stories".

Baez success is leaving the court house today posing for pics with young girls. walking with his sunglasses on and a big smile.

I wish PA wouldn't go to painful lengths to introduce details. I skipped most of prosecution's witnesses today and I would think that jurors might also get tired and disconnect and lose some of the more important parts.
Gerardo reading tag numbers, item numbers, exact time of collection, etc. made me fall asleep.

It is tedious and boring! But unlike us, who wholly believe and trust in LE and the Forensic people, the defense will pick that one tiny shred of mistake or loophole to get this trial thrown out or gawd forbid help ICA go free. I agree I wanted to pull my hair out by the root. I admit I was outside play with my granddaughter in her kiddie pool and only half listening.

She strikes me as the kind - like Pamela Smart and many others I have read about in true crime books - who will NEVER come clean, NEVER admit what happened. Too much ego. Even if she winds up on death row, she may still claim the police never found the real nanny, and the swimming pool drowning had only been her lawyer's idea. I have known in real life a pathological liar and thief - never murdered anyone, though - and he would never, ever, admit to anything, even when he was caught, even when there was documented proof. ETA: If you just mean speaking, but not telling the truth, then YES, she will speak as you say to keep the cameras on her. But she will never come clean about anything. It is impossible for her.

It is an oft used trial tactic for Prosecution witnesses to address the jurors when answering and not so much during cross.

It's a subtle way of saying to jurors that the witness has prosecution info that is helpful for jurors to understand, and that the DT not so much.

I really believe that the oNLY reason JB called it out with YURI, is because he had in fact read it here.

We are his BEST guage of temperature and he needed to cool YURI down a bit.

We all saw JB cross Yuri in pretrial hearings.......JB did not like the attitude shift and quizzical looks...thus he tried to make him look bad by pointing out that Yuri had been trained that way. YURI was clear in his agreement and thus demonstrated....he wasn't hiding anything.

JB gambled and lost on that little exchange.

I think about this all the time, this board, while being a very interesting place to be, for me, saves defense (and prosecution) a bundle that one would have had to pay to various consultants to get information. The real time daily information we are giving both sides has to be monumental. It is hysterical to see things mentioned here come up in court.

Puberty? Hormones? That can change things.

IDK, but I did read that Ted Bundy, when he was 3 years old, laid knives all around his aunt while she was in bed sleeping. Young! But that might not be the norm.

I have known a pathological liar in my time and they never ever admitted they were lying....thank God I never personally knew a murderer....well except that one dude but thankfully I did not really know him that well.

OT, but many people here say they have known a sociopath or two in their lives, but not one who murdered anyone...how would one know?

I am thinking of the "absolutely, most definitely" sociopath I was "friends" with some years back and she had moved around a lot and I would never feel comfortable saying that she had never killed anyone. Never been caught, maybe.

It might be boring, but it's crucial. If they don't positively identify it and introduce it, then it can't be brought in and discussed during the trial. Most of the time the PAs go back and forth between the "boring" info and the "interesting" info.... It's all needed.

Knowing what I know now, when I heard about the copies of Amy's resume I immeadiately thought that ICA was going to impersonate Amy and use her resume to get a job. Don't have the link, but I believe in a text message ICA said something regarding Amy being "just like myself" or something to that effect...Also, she already stole Amy's checkbook, so IMO stealing her identity is not a big stretch,

I think this is plausible. I have thought she carried the resume around in case someone asked for her ID when writing Amy's checks... like, "Oh dear, I forgot my wallet... let's see, <tee-hee> oh! I have my resume... any chance you'd take that?<batting eyelashes> I must have left my wallet in my other purse but I feel in my gut I am actually Amy!"
