But if Casey's a sociopath, she's a bloody stupid one as well. Putting everything off is one thing but lying to the police who can easily prove she lied seems blatantly stupid. Stealing Amy's checks...well that was really easy to prove she did it. She did not use much foresight at all. Only when she left the car at Amscot did she perhaps use a little foresight....knowing she better not have anyone around the car anymore. But what was she thinking after Tony came back and retrieved his car? That was really putting things off!

I don't get why people keep saying she's intelligent. She's a clever liar and manipulator, but that's it as far as I can see.
She tries to sound smart, but she uses words wrong and uses the wrong words all the time. It seems like she's parroting phrases she's heard somewhere, but, because she doesn't understand them, she uses them improperly. I also think that half the time she doesn't have a clue what's going on in court, hence her blank stare, stone face and furrowed brow.
She doesn't seem to realize that she's not going to get away with murder.
I find it unbelievable the way she watched the videos - someone upthread said "like it was her twin sister". There's no sign of emotion - only possibly a little spark of confused interest now and then.
Then, when the jury is out of the room, she acts all giggly and flirty, like she's at a party or some event she "planned" for herself - and she's the star. Notice how the minute anyone sits near her, she immediately starts yakking at them. I think they've all about had enough.
She'll even try it with the guards, as if they're her buddies and/or fans.
She's really an enigma.

I hope SA puts those psych experts on the stand - I'd love to hear a professional opinion of her behavior, not just one from a TH on TV.
