The other thread closed so I am repeating here. Judge Perry makes me smile. :)

In a movie remake of the trial, what actor do you think would be a good HHJP?

Police officer from first die hard movie,he also played dad in family matters.

i don't know really looks wise but he would have to have the delivery of someone like morgan freeman doing an accent.

The woman sitting close the the DT table in brown with bright yellow blouse is Jeanne Barrett, CAs bearded buddy, aka, mitigation specialist.

TY. (bearded buddy?)

James Earl Jones!!!!

Second choice would be Denzel Washington!!!

well since both worked together I would assume you tend to adopt "TRASH" as the word of choice, nothing nefarious about it. Of course the DT wanted to find something that wasn't there. lol

I'm going to assume, since GB made a point of calling it trash yesterday, that this is the terminology that CSI use and nothing else.

if I remember correctly she also has a serial killer's wife on her defense team to..who helped pick this jury with them..

I caught the same thing regarding the whole "trash/garbage" thing. The witness made the distinction as if he'd been present when it took place the day before. He's not supposed to know what's being said when he's not in the courtroom. I noticed it right away, because I had a convo with my dd yesterday about whey they would make a distinction (subtlety -- trash sounds cleaner than garbage imo).

I noticed that, too. When JB said something to the effect of "we went round & round about that yesterday", I distinctively heard MV say "yes, I know." Anyone else???

The woman in yellow with the short black hair that talked to Casey just as she was led out of the court room looked familiar to me. Anyone know who she was?

:floorlaugh: look above your post ..... we posted at the same time.

That is Jeanne Barrett. She is the closest person, well female person, that really likes ICA. Somewhere in cyberspace and probably here at WS is a video of the hearing where she testified.

I was not impressed.

JB made a few points today but he lost it all on the jury. They totally I think blew him off.

Yes - hair in the trunk had it; hair(s) attached to tape did not ERGO the tape went on when she was ALIVE. The hair in the trunk fell out (of the bag or her head) when she had been dead awhile. THUS DuctTape = Murder Weapon

This part bothers me. Did they test all the hair left on the duct tape and it just hasn't been submitted into evidence yet because the prosecutors are following the timeline and we haven't gotten to that part in the timeline yet?

Did ICA want to speak to her to get in on the hamburger action?

So when this came out at trial was it clear enough for the jury to hopefully come to this conclusion as well?

Wait, but that's not necessarily true. Lowe testified today that not ALL hair on the head of a dead person has the root banding. They don't know why. It might have something to do with the stage the hair was in (actively growing, about to fall out, etc).

So a hair in the duct tape without a root band could be from a living person OR from a deceased person. No band does not prove the person was alive.

Personally, I say "garbage" (now listen kiddies, this is important! haha) :floorlaugh:, when there is actual garbage in the container, such as meat, scraps of veggies, already cooked noodles...ie. actual FOOD products.

I say "trash" when just paper products, cans, empty food packages.

I agree. In the kitchen we have "garbage disposals" where you send food down the drain but "trash compactors" for other kinds of waste.
