If George used the duct tape on Caylee... do you think he would be dumb enough to be carrying it around town putting up posters of Caylee? I think it proves George knew nothing about what happened with that duct tape. If he had known, or would have been involved in it... the duct tape would not have even been on the gas can or on posters of Caylee.

It proves, to me, that he knew nothing about that duct tape being used to murder his precious granddaughter!

JMO - yes, those are several reasons why it is demonstrated GA is not guilty. Besides, GA isn't on trial.

Didn't DT say at some point that George "hid" the duct tape behind the donation jar at some
fundraiser event to help find Caylee?

I thought that was really a stupid comment by the DT.

Speaking of Cindy, I can't help it, the question keeps popping into my head as to why Caylee was wearing the SAME SHORTS she wore to see great grandfather on June 15.

If Caylee went to bed the evening of the 15th after swimming in the pool earlier that evening, wouldn't she wear jammies? I've never known a mom to put the same shorts back on a toddler the next day - sometimes a toddler wears two outfits in a day. With all of the clothes Caylee had, why the same shorts which probably would have been somewhat dirty by Monday? :waitasec:

Plus GA says he saw her the morning of the 16th wearing jean shorts (which I've never believed - just mo.)

BBM

is that certainly true? I dont recall seeing pics of them from that date, if that is so then it makes me rethink my personal theory.

JB is trying to imply that everyone is profiting from Caylee's death except ICA.
Won't be surprised in the DT case he brings up up much GA and CA got from selling the photo, films etc.

He will also likely bring up all the money dontated so as to try and negate how much it cost the taxpayers for all the LE and searches while ICA stayed in jail.

He is doing this IMO because 6 weeks ago he said Caylee was never missing and drowned and ICA was afraid to tell anyone because of George's abuse of her.

Deflection and more deflection that will not work. He is stuck with his opening even the state has never bought into his drowning/ICA fear story.

Wonder how much it has cost to keep ICA in jail and the circus she produced while she was there not to mention the fact that her defense is at taxpayer expense.

IMO it would backfire on the defense if he brings up the donations because it seems like some people would think Casey had a lot of nerve to let people donate their hard earned money in order to search for her daughter, who, according to JB, was never missing in the first place.

I still don't know why they are out to get Kronk?:waitasec:
That additional angle to the DT's fantasmagorical story just is too much for even an uninformed juror to buy! IMO
It sounds like they were partaking in something more potent than Koolaid!!:innocent:

Because if they can prove that RK moved the body, the duct tape and all of that could have been put on by him.

ETA: I don't believe any of that and would love to ask JB how she knew that GA didn't dump her there if she never knew where he put her. But to be able to put that baby into the hands of someone other than KC, in a storage type situation contaminates (for lack of a better term at the moment) the evidence found at the scene as far as KC (or GA) would be concerned and opens the door for doubts (or could, but I doubt it at this point).

Melanie ~ I always thought that Casey dumped Caylee the day of the gas can incident when George confronted her.

I would bet my Pepsi that George took off after her that day, and she had just a little bit of a head start on him; and she turned at that intersection and went up to the school and sat for a few minutes.
George would have thought she turned the other way, she waited it out, and when she left, she stopped on that side of the road and made a fast "throw away", and she went on her way; behind George.

Agree but don't think JB is as smart as you are!:floorlaugh:

I don't really see how close or far from the road would indicate as to "who" dumped Caylee's body in that trashy/swampy/overgrown wooded area.

I wish I knew more about the general wind direction in that area of town in the months of June and July.

Just an addition to this. I live in a very wooded area and many times drive down a road that used to be a dirt road and is now paved. There are no houses on it and it runs through some power lines

Many times, like yesterday I can drive that road and get a whiff of what I think is a dead animal. In all actuality I suppose it would be a great place to dump a body. I do not stop and get out and look as I am usually alone.

When my daughter was very little I used to walk her down there in the stroller and then as she got older on her pony and the dogs.
One time I cut into the power lines and that road is a little higher and drops off on the side. I thought I smelled something bad and kept on looking off to the side without bringing attention to my daughter.

Lo and behold there was a black plastic bag and I could see the back of a dog sticking out as animals had obviously got to it already. My thought at that point was I did not want my daughter to see it and second what sadistic person would do such a thing.

And here comes Casey Anthony. And her daughter.

What I am trying to get at is a rotting animal is a horrible smell and they have said during this trial that human decomposition does not smell like that so I can't even imagine how horrible it must be. Under water you would not smell that at all. So someone passing by might not have even smelled anything at all, by then she was a skeleton.

He already asked CA when she testified how much money they made.

Hey don't ask me. I don't know how dumb or not dumb GA is - I DON'T KNOW GEORGE.

Dr. Drew said on his show on June 9 that, according to GA's ex wife, GA wanted to move to Florida to became a Disney character. That's why he quit the police force. It's been said many times around here, that we just can't make this stuff up!

Yeah, no kidding! I choked on my smoke when he told that, and he was straight as an arrow when he told it.

He said George's ex-wife also said that ole George was/is quite the liar, and that she thinks that Casey picked that up from her dear ole dad. That it runs in his family.

All I know is, that the defense has not explained why ICA never called 911. And, the rest of the defense "story" isn't making much sense to me. (though I've always been of the opinion that GA knew in June 2008 that Caylee was dead). And, since I don't have the opinion that ICA would ever cover for GA, that could only mean that he was covering for her.

Methinks an ex-wife (is there really one?) speaks well for herself.

A Disney character, gmab! :floorlaugh:

I think the clothes that Caylee was found in are very telling. No swim suit AND it wasn't the outfit george said he last saw her in!

Dr. G torpedoed the defenses theory. Kronk would not be lugging around a completely skeletonized body! Nor would he hide it, retrieve it, and hide it again. That story smells just like ICA.

He already asked CA when she testified how much money they made.

Think this will continue to be a running them in JB's defense of ICA. Although most reasonable thinking people will not be able to reconcile this with ICA sitting in jail for nearly 3 years IF Caylee's death was a drowning accident.

Dr. G was so awesome yesterday when she testified that 100% of drowning accidents result in calls to 911 because people believe the victim might be resuscitated. That was a powerful statement by Dr. G which I hope jurors will relate to themselves and remember.

This is Florida and a large percentage of homes have pools due to the heat and there jurors will relate to that comment.

Made me think of the Ricardo photos. Someone refresh my memory on when KC was over at Ricardo's with Caylee with that shirt on. It was remarked at one point that KC was with Ricardo with Caylee, then left Ricardo's at an early a.m. hour and when she returned, no Caylee, right? She said that she had returned Caylee to CA.

Could be wrong. Thanks.

Maybe just the fact that it seems impossible for it not to have been found in 6 months if it was that close to the street?

If Caylee's remains were put there off Suburban in late June, after June 16th, school would be in summer recess so there wouldn't be children walking by that area on a daily basis. Then in late August tropical storm Fay went through Orlando and actually zig-zagged across Orlando several times before going out to sea. That storm dropped a lot of rain.........by reports more rain than any other previous tropical storm. So by the time school resumed in Sept. the area where Caylee's remains were eventually located was under water and it's reasonable to assume that children wouldn't go near a water-filled depression.

I remember the day that Caylee's remains were found that reporters interviewed a few people who lived in the area who said that the remains area was under water until just a few weeks before.

There was a neighbor on tape telling how far the water came up, it basically made the entire area a pond. I could never find that tape, not good at the search function, but I remember he was a young man. Like that helps. Lol.

Thanks for bringing this forward!

At the end of this interview Kio insists she heard a girl child in the background of a KC call. KC replied not right now or I'm on the phone, something like that. This was on July 9th. Jesse G. also claimed he'd heard Caylee in the background of a KC call around that time-- do you think she played a video so that Caylee would be heard? :waitasec:

I know a Neutron Devices (Plutonium) Engineer that drove 100 miles one way to dress up as "Goofy" on the weekends at Disney. So GA is not necessarily by himself if that's true :great:
