itsyourworld -- Respectfully, I think the state was wanting Cindy to say the bag (the one that Caylee was eventually found in) was stashed in the garage. That HELPS their case, not hurt it. Of course, then they had to go over what was said at the depo, so an explanation could be offered. Not even considering anything else: How in the world could the round laundry bag that Caylee was eventually found in being stashed in the garage HURT the state's case? It doesn't, at all. In fact, as I said, the bag being in the garage would be better for the state than the bag being located in Caylee's room.

Right. But then the answer as to why there was another bag in the garage had to be answered, which was. Cindy testified that bag was used to hold balls or toys. Where the bag was stored that was found with Caylee is impossible to prove by the state since the state would have nothing to base any evidence outside of the Anthony's say so that the bag was always in the garage. I don't doubt it was. But why then the other bag placed in a black bag and put on the top shelf in the garage? In my opinion, that is the question the state is addressing.

I am quite willing to believe that all the family members had been in that car. Duh, it was their car. IMO nothing hangs on the assumption that Cindy or Granny never set foot in that car.

The interesting part about the car discussion to me is that JB never states the obvious. If we disregard the death band and assume that the hair in the trunk could have come from a living maternal relative, why does he keep pointing his finger at Lee and Cindy and Granny when the car was probably full of Casey's hair since she was the one who used to drive it, mostly. So if we want to explain the hair with a living relative there is no need to be able to put Granny or Cindy anywhere near the car, the DT has a completely innocent explanation. Of course Casey's hair is there.

Actually, no I don't get the idea. Cindy didn't deny having short blond hair when Caylee disappeared or afterwards. Do you have links from the time that Cindy claimed her hair was long and brown showing that it wasn't?

We can agree to disagree Chilly. These are from part of the time she testified about...I am not going to argue back and forth all night. I am sure that there are pics somewhere...but arguing that CA is an arbiter of the truth is like arguing the earth is flat. IMO

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I noticed on HLN video from the hearing showing ICA taking her chair at the defense table and then lowering it three times. Hopefully, they will show this again.

You seemed to have missed my questions: How do you know that Grammy and Lee were never in the car? How do you know that Cindy NEVER had longer brunette hair?

What did Cindy lie about? What did the jury hear that they might disregard?

I think the jury has heard her caught in 3 lies now. Where the laundry bag disappeared from, the roll of duct tape and who put the dryer sheets in the car. They might tend to disbelieve anything she says that supports her daughter in anyway.

Regarding that hair with deathband Q12...It has been testified to that this hair is UNTREATED hair so given Cindy, Casey and no doubt Cindy's mother's hair likely has been treated as well..and the fact none of them are deceased says one thing..It was Caylee's Head Hair no more no less..and was from a decomposing body...After all the forensics..I have no doubt, let alone any reasonable doubt just who that hair belonged to..JMOO

I didn't see that, but i have thought that maybe the case along, to make her appear smaller. waiflike to the jury, I think.

Just a question- If the defense brings in Kronk won't that open all kinds of people and evidence that the prosecution can rebuttal with???

i think the prosecution has blown it big time.
they didn't tie anything together for the jury.
seems like they assumed the jury knows as much as we do.
also, they had no heart at all. just cold disorganized facts.
everytime they had a chance to put a nail in kc's coffin, they blew it.
like today when baez asked if people got tatoo's as a memorial, mr. george
could have followed up with, how do you have a memorial tat for someone
your bringing in sat. for a visit?
looks like the sa is just droping a ton of great evidence in the jurys lap and
saying you firgure it out, were tired an want to rest.

The jury will realize what the A's are there to do-keep Casey off DR!!And I hope they will disregard all their testimonies and rely on the scientific testimony, because that is whats telling me what happen to Caylee..JMO

I wanted to mention it, but wasn't sure anyone else had caught this. IMO, the chair was already low. I will try to locate it while rewatching today's events on WFTV.

Did Cindy testify in front of the jury previously that she did not put dryer sheets in the car? Did she testify in front of the jury about the location of the laundry bags before, or about the duct tape? As far as I know, the jury has only heard one story from Cindy about any of those things and not one of them helps Casey.

Don't forget we still have the SA's rebuttal to come!

I think the hair questions to Cindy were to clearly show the distinctions, to just reinforce and make what the hair experts testified to. Made it very clear for me.

That's what summation is for. The attys aren't supposed to testify with their questions (although Baez keeps trying.) Attys are supposed to solicit information which is evaluated by the jury--the finder of facts. The closing statement is where each side can tie together everything they've presented into a substantive whole.

The prosecution doesn't need to tie anything together until closing. In fact, they'd be idiots to do it now before they hear the DT's case. Moreover, they may put on more evidence during their rebuttal and begin tying it up for the jury then and button it up on closing.

The SA hasn't blown anything if their peers are to be believed, the SA are doing a brilliant job.

That said, I agree with you about Mr George. I like him, but I feel like he dropped the ball with the tat guy.

They will wrap it all up in a pretty bow for the jury in closing. Just like in the opening, they will lay it out step by step this time with each piece of evidence and testimony. It will be fresh in their minds when they go in to deliberate.

can someone explain the photobucket situation? it was entered in/stipulated to but no one actually presents it???

What was it the Judge said at the end???

Facts are facts??? wonder if that's what he's referring to? I imagine the state will tie it all together in closing. You can bet the defense will bring in something the state can rebut so it's not over till everyone has finished.
