We can agree to disagree Chilly. These are from part of the time she testified about...I am not going to argue back and forth all night. I am sure that there are pics somewhere...but arguing that CA is an arbiter of the truth is like arguing the earth is flat. IMO
i think the prosecution has blown it big time.
they didn't tie anything together for the jury.
seems like they assumed the jury knows as much as we do.
also, they had no heart at all. just cold disorganized facts.
everytime they had a chance to put a nail in kc's coffin, they blew it.
like today when baez asked if people got tatoo's as a memorial, mr. george
could have followed up with, how do you have a memorial tat for someone
your bringing in sat. for a visit?
looks like the sa is just droping a ton of great evidence in the jurys lap and
saying you firgure it out, were tired an want to rest.
Evening All.....
My favorite part of todays court session
When CA mouthed I love you" to ICA .
WHY???
The jury saw this and very possible had the thought,
she testifies to save her daughter from the DP. (when she makes Statements that help the DT)
Or
She loves her and still Testified that way. (When she makes statements that help the SA)
Either way it is a Win- Win for Caylee .:rocker:
I have to very respectfully disagree. Yes, a lot of the testimony to this point has been cold, maybe disorganized and (some say) boring forensics and such. However, it has to be done.
Although the State has rested it's case, it is in NO WAY done. They will listen to whatever *advertiser censored*-n-bull story the Defense has concocted and will be at the ready to discredit them at every single turn. Further, they will walk through each and every door the Defense opens by accident or ineptness - and there will be plenty, IMO. And then... after they've accomplished this, they will have a two hour closing statement where all the nails will be neatly lined up and they will systematically hammer them into ICA's coffin. This is where you'll find the heart and passion of the case some seem to think the Prosecutions is lacking. It's there. I have no doubt. They're just waiting for the appropriate time to tie it all together and passionately and compassionately present it to the jury. They will tell the story of Caylee Anthony and just exactly how she died.
I've kept a record of the motions for Mis-trial by the defense, and since they asked for one AGAIN today - here's a recap of the previous ones:
Mistrial motions denied:
#1 5/27/11: Attempted character assassination of defendant
#2 6/2/11: Mis-statement of facts request a mistrial because of the statements heard during the video especially about the defendants council...including that her council may withhold evidence and destroy evidence. The jury heard and it ruins credibility...other than filing motions and renewing objections that is all we can do. There are future videos that have further slanders against the defnese's council...other legal and um also misstakments of law and fact surrounding the legal representation of Miss Anthony and the visitors in these tapes. I understand part of what the State of FL is doing how ever they should be relvant they should not be prejudicial where you have statements that may confused the jury as to what the law may be and issues related to the defendants council. On those grounds we ask for a mistrial the motion as it relates to these tapes it went exclusively to the Anthony's being agents of the state. He did not state which parts are prohibitive, he did not file in a timely fashion. Per Baez. Didnt like Lees comments about Baez re jailhouse video of 7/25/08 w/KC.
#3 6/14/11: Video of animation with duct tape, Heart Sticker speculation, and issue of remorse regarding getting tattoo.
LOL they should just let her sit on the floor with some crayons or blocks or something.:floorlaugh:

I thought the jury was out when she did that.
That's what people were saying in the trial thread anyway.
I have no clue.
I don't see it as a big deal myself.

I think the A'S have a moral obligation to CAYLEE and I personally believe they should have just had CASEY plea guilty and try to move on with their lives. They would not be going through all this grief and trying to keep her off DR,she probably would have got LWOP.They still get to visit her and help her and when all is said and done, they can sit down and remember a beautiful little girl-who BTW was murdered and did NOT have to die!
Henstly I don't even know WHAT to think about CA. I can't figure her motivation out at all.
I don't think the duck tape belonged at the A's home. I think ICA brought it with her to the home the day she backed in the garage, on the 18th or 19th when she borrowed the shovel. I think she got the garbage bag, put the body in it and then the white laundry bag, because it had handles and made it easier to carry. I think she forgot the tape, left it in the garage. After the gas can incident, GA finds it and uses it on the can. Then it is used again for hanging posters at the tent. They never dreamed it was used on Caylee. That tape is used by contractors more than by home owners. I got that from Henkel co. I am wondering if ICA got the tape from a home that was being fixed up or under construction in the area. We never did find out where she went when she was supposed to be going to a job she never had.
I called Henkel up in Ohio, after the body was found. I asked them about the tape and where it was sold, The response is here on the duct tape thread somewhere. The mail was forwarded to LE. They emailed me back that the tape was a limited edition and only sold for one year, and that was 2005. They only shipped to Home Depot and True Hardware IIRC.
I also believe that only a few states got that tape, and FL was one of them.
