But I think the analysts put it on the cardboard- I am pretty sure it was found loose at the crime scene! (LDB's point)

I think. . .worst case scenario: it was found on the cardboard. . .SO WHAT. It along with the remains was underwater.

It was stuck somewhere else (duct tape) and due to moisture moved and landed on the cardboard. nuff said

I think this is the puffy sticker and "cardboard" the Jury wants to see. The "cardboard" looks like photo/picture Matt board used in framing images. An image of the one found was overlayed over a piece of Matt board I thought looked like the "cardboard" and sticker in evidence.
(Thanks to another WSers help.)

the jury is trying to see this item because it was talked about but not published.

BTW I like that the jury is interested in the exhibits. They are being very engaging. This is a good sign that they will take their job seriously.

Does it matter that THIS one is puffy and the ones in her room were not?

So I am pretty confused here: From what I see from today the heart sticker was attached to "something" meaning its not JUST the sticker... What I see in court, and what I see in the picture is the same thing. What is the problem here?

JB shouldn't have talked about this item if he never wanted it seen.

I think he thought he was 'stealing their thunder' with that one but I think we all know who's gonna get a jolt of electricity here, more ways than one.

OMG - your post lit a lightbulb. ICA needed the shovel to use to pry up poor little Caylee in the trunk to get the bag to go underneath her.

There it is - I've always wondered - it just came together.

GA said there was a disturbed area in the yard. Tie in the dogs hitting near the playhouse I think the shovel was originally borrowed to dig a hole. She may have then used it to move her in the trunk to the bag. More evidence imo Caylee died in that trunk.

Sure, but it's not your daughter on trial for murder, so it's easy for you to have loyalty only for Caylee. If you were in her shoes, I bet your view would be more clouded.

No. Like I said I can empathize with the horrible position CA is in, in fact I have sympathy for her.

I raised 3 daughters and I have 3 granddaughters. I am a believer in making your kids take responsibility for their actions and there is no way in hell I would lie for them if I believed in my heart that one of them murdered one of my grandchildren.

I would fight like hell and BEG the jury to spare their life during the penalty phase, but I would never leave one of my grandchildren without me to fight for them. Never.

Yep. She is Grandma who has lied for the benefit of her grandchild's murderer.

I understand.

I was replying to a post stating CA may go to trial for her "actions" in the investigative stage.

I simply stated, perhaps we should wait until THAT trial to treat CA as the accused.

Since the jury isn't yet deliberating how does a request to see Exhibit item 313 originate? Do they just talk amongst themselves on break and inform a court officer of their request?

Was there a heart sticker found at the crime scene? I think I have only heard there was residue left on the duct tape?

That was my assumption also. Now I want the expert to testify so we can clear that up. Because I never heard that it was or wasn't stuck to cardboard. Just the pic with it on the cardboard.

I think I agree with you guys now that I have seen the pics. I had always though that was a picture of the duct tape for some reason. Why would it be on cardboard there if it was on the duct tape? That would definitely play better for the defense...

Judge is asking that they get out the document cam and show the jury exhibit 313. sending back a box of the gloves so the jurors can look at the evidence.

Jb saying the sticker has fallen off of the cardboard. Wanting the jury to see the item as it was.

LDB saying there is no evidence that the sticker was ever STUCK to the card board. Saying JB should call witness back to testify that the items was or was not stuck to cardboard.
LDB has no objection to the jury reviewing the item as it is. but this item is not in evidence yet.

HHJBP when a jury asks a specific question you must specifically answer that question.

They will see 313. that is what they asked for.

JB and LDB reaching a mutual agreement.

Ok doc cam is fine. if they want to see it in their hands they can see it in their hands.

JB suggesting that it was stuck to cardboard.

HHJBP says that is there record testimony that says it is STUCK to the cardboard?

LDB saying robin maynard was the witness to have testified to the heart sticker on the cardboard.

HHJBP having her testimony read from last saturday. As to whether the sticker was placed on the cardboard to take photos or if it was STUCK to the card board.

JB they wouldnt have included the cardboard if it wasnt part of the evidence.

HHBJP call miss peters to bring up that testimony and we need to find out.

going off the record for now

Thanks for the record of what's going on (not able to watch here).

I'm not getting why the jury wants to know about the cardboard, or why the cardboard is so important. It's got to be something simple that I'm just missing b/c you all seem to get it. What's the significance of on the cardboard, or not on cardboard?

Does it matter that THIS one is puffy and the ones in her room were not?

It looks like it may have been at one time on the empty heart seen photographed ontop of the envelope on the memories box
