Nancy Grace is really worked up on the fact the DT hired the bug guy before the remains were IDd so that means Casey told her lawyers where the body was.

I'm not seeing that. Were there a lot of remains found of small children before then that they thought to be Caylee? It seems almost certain that when the remains were found, it was Caylee. It's morbid to start your murder defense before you know there's a murder but this is JB and it is his job.

It does stick out and I'm sure the SA will bring it up but I'm not seeing something.

I say the DT brought up the stain in the trunk today ....they should be allowed to bring in all the CSI techs that saw the image of Caylee in the trunk under the ALS...just like the shroud of Turin (IMO)

Did the testimony at all ever reveal if the smell of decomposition in the car trunk could ever be removed?

The guy said that it would be extremely difficult and that usually anything that had decomp on it, such as carpet, would need to be disposed of. He even agreed that he smelled it when he inspected the car two years later - although he was still sticking to his "it was from the trash bag theory" at that point.

Just got home from work and am watching the replay of JA's cross with the bug guy. OMG! How masterful!!

ICA should be shaking in her boots thinking, "I am a good liar", but not that good!! Can you imagine having to face JA! He rocked!:rocker:

Just heard the "Pigs in a blanket" statement by JA. He's really good! I feel bad for the bug guy who I think does know his stuff.

Easy cover for the hiring date is the car. If we remember back then that was the primary evidenciary scene. No body found but charges filed. It's nothing in my opinion as far as the date. This business about kronk is coming from Padilla on these shows and it will amount to nothing,,,, again as far as that hatted clown.

I'm sure it's about attempting to involve VT into this mess. Unfortunately, it's been common practice to blame an innocent minority in the past. It's dirty and despicable, IMO.

I highly doubt it's because of his race. He has a conviction for kidnapping and they tried the same thing with RK. Really not surprising.

Maybe it wasn't a day late. Only ICA knows for certain the day Caylee died. Maybe she was trussed and taped in the trunk while ICA was at Blockbusters and watching a movie -- and then woke up that night with TL in a cold sweat -- remembering what she forgot in the trunk.

Here's what I think will happen and this will probably make a lot of you mad at me. I think CA will be convicted, but it will be a lesser charge and she will be sentenced to something like 25 to 30 years in prison. Don't know about Florida, but in OK a 30 year sentence is only about 10 years of actual prison time.

I really appreciate your input but you are right, I would be deeply upset if Casey only spent 10 yrs in prison for murdering little Caylee, bagging her up and throwing her away like trash

I believe he said he started it in September 2010. He swears he had had the idea to do it for a long time before this case, and if he had wanted to do it for this case, he would have found the same car, wrapped the pig up and done it in Florida in the summer. He got a little defensive. In all fairness to this young man, he did a pretty good job considering who his client is and what he had to work with. I have a daughter with an almost PhD who is an educator and consultant and I just kept picturing her up there. Bill Shaeffer commented that experts just need to learn that when they are faced with logic (as JA was doing at the end) they need to be able to come off their opinions or they begin to lose credibility - FWIW.

Respectfully In all fairness to Caylee IMO he tailored his experiment the way he did to help the defense mislead and confuse this jury.Diane Dimond on NG said it was insane what he did today comparing his experiment results when he did not replicate it ie blanket and plastic bags.

I think they did take the whole thing out. Didn't they mark it as an exhibit for Dr. Vass? They also cut pieces of it and put it in the cans. I think they said today that when Dr. H inspected the car, it had no carpeting in it?

As much as I don't want to admit it but very good point Grey and the location of the site being a couple of minutes walk from the A's home and I don't know for sure, but were there any other children missing at the time. If this was the other way around, DT would also milk it for all it's worth. JIMO

I don't usually watch any of the tv coverage but I saw the comments about LP and put on JVM. Missed the catfight but I did just LP going on about Baez and the Anthony's throwing JG under the bus and JVM stopped to disclaim that was his opinion and not the view of the show or network.

I guess they have gotten blow back? Is Padilla on the teevee every DAY? Another way to deal with the issue to stop putting him on.

When prompted about all the lives the case ruined, he mentioned all the boyfriends will make money from the case.

LP has made quite a bit from this case too.. from all the NG appearances he has been on - dozens.
Of course he was stupid enough to bail ICA out to begin with so he has still some $ to get back to square one.

I don't know why they keep having LP on, I don't believe a single thing that comes out of his mouth and when he's on I just change the channel. All he wants is attention and it's already past the point of getting old.

Maybe. Caylee would have had to be removed from the trunk or put in trash bags fairly quickly after death otherwise wouldn't there have been more blow fly activity?
