I'm getting on for my pup - with our weather lately, she's had just about enough

The thundershirts work GREAT! I have a very neurotic German Shorthaired Pointer who is afraid of his own shadow, and when I put that on him he's instantly calm. However... never leave said dog alone with your 18 year old for 8 days while on vacation because said 18 year old will just leave it on the dog 24/7 and the dog will chew it off! $40 gone... I need to order a new one.

Also, such a tragic story would make the rounds. I know a lot of stories about people I've never spoken to.

I'm not able to find the details of the story of her son drowning - did it happen when AW was in jail or was she present at the time?

If it happened when AW was in jail in 2009, I could imagine the news would travel from cell to cell quickly.

Oooooweee... what a day! Dr. Wise was awesome and Baez... well, was just pathetic.

I can't help but feel a bit disappointed and repulsed that this has all been reduced down into nothing more than a pizzing match because Baez hates Dr. Vass, though. When are they going to get around to putting on their CIC? This is all such nonsense.

Why did CM leave early? He really didn't like it when the Judge said they were going to go past 5 the other day. He tried to give him a sad, puppy look which I found revolting at the time. But really, is he that old and feeble that he can't go an extra half hour or hour? Or is he just being a petulant, stubborn cuss? Has he mentally checked out of this case? He didn't even bother to go up to sidebar much today and that's pretty much all he's been good for. I never understood why he's supposed to have this stellar reputation anyway, but that's beside the point, I guess. But he sure picked a dud of a case to go out on. And he thought it was going to be 'fun'. Heh...

I heard on HLN that she was (is?) in jail for a suspended license. Is that true?

The article has a link to her nights/times spent in jail and says she's been there for petty theft, suspended license and driving, and a couple other reasons to include drugs. My guess is all of her problems stem from drug use.

I'm not sure the reason in 2009, but looks to be her longest jail stint todate.

On the trial thread I noticed a comment about why we get so excited with JA's cross exams. Is this favoritism. In moo I like the questions to be pointed and succinct---Jose mumbles, stumbles--half the time I don't get what his question is. Also I highly value witnesses that give us reliable info in an unbiased way. Some earlier defense witnesses have tried to stretch their facts to go along with the defenses new story. I mean goiod god---Caylee's bone were buried in yuck. Orlando went thru a hurricane. What's more logical--a dog buried the bone or that is was there a long time and was exposed to water, mud etc. To me plain old common sense applied to the science wins every time. The defense is trying to use smoke and mirrors and violation of court orders to make a case. Also the Prosecution is the one that needs to prove the case. The defense needs to try to offer reasonable doubt in a logical way....thy're making the states case for them!!!!!! Dumb!!!

In this case, those with the FACTS (SA & their witnesses) are standing straight and tall, and those trying to obfuscate (DT & their witnesses) are tap-dancing. It's impossible to miss. I can think of no other 'strategy' this could be, other than DT is hoping somebody on the jury is COMPLETELY stupid.

Ya know what it comes down to...is skill. Ashton is a skillful attorney...and Jose isn't. I love watching good attorneys...regardless of what side they represent. I don't think I'm biased when it comes to being able to say the State is doing an awesome job...and Baez is nowhere near hitting the mark. Part of it may be because he's remembering someone else's words/notes. He'd probably sound a whole lot smoother if he was the one who was formulating the questions based on what HE knew.
Just my 2 cents.
