LKB has the gall to say this judge has made to many Mistakes? :violin:
I don't think so, all I see is a very patient judge doing everything he can to make sure ICA get's a fair trial.

LKB is coming up on the Dr. Drew show.............it will be interesting to see what she's saying now.

Good points! If April Whalen didn't have direct contact with KC, if KC did hear it, it would have to be from another inmate. I would think inmates experience a lot of boredom and gossip is something that helps pass the time. RA is a likely candidate.

On NG they just said AW discussed it with others but not Casey. I don't know how reliable that info is but that's what I heard.

Can' t watch the trial ever due to scheduling and what not..but I do have one question..is there a reason Casey is tying up her sweater, other than to look ridiculous?

Think LDB dropping this in court today was more of a warning to the Defense team than anything. This little tidbit caused quite a stir today in the court of public opinion. Reminder to JB that the state nor the public has forgotten the play his opening got.

As someone posted earlier this information already hit the international papers/news. :twocents:

She also messed up the drowning timeline. What will they do now?

Just finished reading the wonderful Dr. Wise's testimony! No wonder JA was smiling...he knew he had a ringer!

No, that about covers it.
Oh, and the fact that the inmate can't stand wearing loose fitting clothes.
I'm sure you noticed the knot on the back of her shirt yesterday.
Gotta show off the figure ya know.

The State must turn over any relevant findings regarding information they receive from an investigation to defense which is what LDB did. It was JB who insisted on bringing it before the court to make an issue out of it therefore bringing it to the attention of everyone within earshot of a TV screen. Had JB not complained it would probably have been handled quietly. LE would have gone on with their investigation and SA would go from there. LDB said they have no plans to use this information. And that would be because the computer and phone messaging clearly shows someone was using the computer and KC was texting during the time the drowning was supposed to have occurred. The only lull was late afternoon when both GA and CA were working. It appears to be all wrapped up with a bow. jmo

I want to pose a question for all here...............

I have confidence that the state has a strong case. Beginning with his opening statement, the defense has been floundering.

But, I worry about the jury. Today I read or heard two things that concern me. One statement came from Jean Casarez, who said that the jury doesn't seem to like Jeff Ashton.

The other thing was from one of the reporters who said that juror number 4 (can't judge others) only takes notes when the defense is talking.

Do you have any concerns about the jury? Are you concerned about juror number 4?

If their client takes a polygraph, then isn't the state entitled to the results of any and all polygraphs during discovery? All expert examination results are typically provided to the opposing counsel.

Oh what I would pay to see a polygraph taken by ICA and even more for one taken by JB.:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Book deal here I come!

Yes, that knot was very reminiscent of the knots she tied in the back of the Caylee is Missing tee-shirts she wore while out on bail. Which brings me to another point, I wish the jury could see pictures of her cold hearted and callously walking around with those shirts on, knowing the daughter whose face was emblazoned on those shirts was dead already. Yet, no emotion except contrived anger towards the "media".

That's interesting cause I read a twitter that said the jurors perk up and pay attention when JA is up!!
Hhhhmmm...Wonder which hat JC was wearing when she said that?:waitasec:

Leila, I don't have a clue for what JC is basing that info on. If true about juror 4 then the worst case scenario she will hang the jury not get Casey acquitted. JC wears two faces and her opinions depend on who she is reporting for. CTV constantly reported during the SP trial that Mark Geragos was very charismatic and well liked by jurors. The state was doing a lousy job in that case, one of the jurors may have had a crush on SP, etc.

I dont have any concerns about the jury - there are plenty of sound minds on there to help those along who might have trouble deliberating....also, not sure how familar you are with the Scott Peterson trial but the WHOLE TIME, media was zeroed in on the one juror everyone was 'concerned' about, "Strawberry Shortcake"; young, attractive, gregarious female on the jury - apparently a lot of assumptions were made by her outward appearance and general personality traits, that she was liberal, flirty, possibly 'crushing' on Scott Peterson....she crushed him alright....When it was all said and done I think she voluntered to load the needle for him.

Leila,

I have been keeping my eye out on anyone else referencing juror #4, and I have consoled myself a little with the fact that Pamela from Hinky Meter has not voiced any concern about the jury. I hope that's a good sign there is not a problem.

I just don't believe it because I haven't seen a reason that they would. He hasn't acted like a jerk in any way that I've seen.

I'm not watching LKB, but if she's so convinced that the defense could prove their case, why did she bail?

After KC was declared indigent, the state of Florida wouldn't pay for a big defense team. LKB and Andrea Lyon both left. I think part of it was the money angle and partly differences of opinion between them and JB.

Pretty soon her fashion decisions will be made for her.

In response to Leila's post:
I worry about this whole case honestly.
I know most of you think that the judge is doing a great job.
I think he's letting Baez get away with things that no lawyer should be allowed to get away with.
This isn't a head of state on trial, just a <modsnip> girl who treated HER girl like trash.

I also think there will be appeals for years to come:
They didn't get the jury they wanted.
They were rushed.
They didn't get witnesses they wanted.
Etc, etc., etc.

And as for the juror who can't judge someone- Why didn't the judge let the prosecution get rid of her?
She can hang this jury so fast if she chooses.

I don't see any of this as an open and shut case.
The evidence IS in my opinion, but the system seems to bend over backwards for the accused, NOT the victim.

It makes me so sad to think that even in death, poor little Caylee still has no voice, no one is listening, no one who SHOULD care actually does care.
Meanwhile, her mom has become infamous and has a TEAM of people jumping through hoops trying every trick in the book to get her off of a crime she needs to pay for.

This trial makes me feel so depressed about our legal system.

I take everything she says with a grain of salt. Besides, tweets have said that the jury smiles at JA and gives JB no response.

Can't speak to #4.
