I thought it was JB, but then realized it was Lippman that patted him on the back. However... the Anthony's and Lippman followed CM out of the courtroom for lunch. I think the DT has it fixed with the family, that they will make all this look innocent, and not sling anymore dirt, if everyone will just cooperate and everyone will just take their punishment for covering up an accident.

Now when it comes to GA and the abuse allegation, that will be the headline of the day, and I can't even imagine how that will read. This trial took a hard turn really fast yesterday... no telling what's coming next. JMOO

JB patted LE shortly after he walked off the stand and before ICA was escorted out of the courtroom. Before Lee walked to the back of the courtroom and rolled his head around on his shoulders.

My apologies. What I was going by was the commentary on IS saying Lee Anthony was being patted on the back by the Anthony attorney Mark Lippman.

If I believed that someone molested a person I would not be patting that molester on the back as he left the witness stand..

Exactly.

And if I had been accused of molesting someone, I would not let the accuser touch me in any way whatsoever without kicking him in the er um "nether regions".

Wait Wait ICA's pregnancy was NOT a secret to LEE. He saw her pregnant belly....it was not a secret. :banghead: Not talking about something doesn't keep the secret.

That tells me GA and CA were not happy about the pregnancy, were ashamed of it and didn't want to discuss it until they had to - at Caylee's birth.

That's enough pschobabble from me for one day. I'm going to vacuum, unload the dishwasher, and then get my mind back to facts. :)

If GA takes the stand, who will do the cross, LKB or JA?

TIA

In this particular case I'm not clear why it was brought up to begin with. I was totally prepared to hear Lee say his other reason for being hurt was because he may have been the father. That is what it seemed like JB was leading up to. That didn't happen so what was the point?

To make the jury wonder and create suspicion that Lee could be guilty of something....maybe even the seed they planted in their opening.

Does it get any more sick than this?

I wonder if KC had actually accused Lee to her family in the past about molestation to deflect from her about her pregnancy, and to push him out of the nest in a way. I've seen that happen. A pregnant sibling doing everything they can to push the other sibling away from family in order to retain's parents resources.

I also, seeing what a liar she is, can't believe that KC didn't come up with some serious whoppers during her pregnancy to try to keep her parents from being mad at her.

Not JB, it was Lippman.

It was Baez patting Lee as he left the stand and whispering to him and patting again...

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHY JB SAID THIS???????????

"We're not offering this for the truth of the matter, your honor."

Why didn't they ask him when they had him on the stand for their side? They only asked GA. They had the opportunity..were they afraid of the answer?

LA wasn't accused of co-conspiring with ICA to hide a drowning death. It's irrelevant.

JB patted Lee on the back when Lee left the stand. In the back of the courtroom, CM patted Lippman on the shoulder. GA, CA, LA and CM and Lippman all left together.

Ok, say what you want to, but that had to leave the jurors feeling as uncomfortable as some of us were. That was not crying about just being "left out"..............

I agree.

Caylee was born 6 years ago. I doubt that LA would still be upset about "being left out" 6 years later.

I think Lee was genuine.

I think Caseys tears were real too (for once!).

I think it was their all-round dysfunction that started him crying. He was explaining a situation where yet again, they covered for her and he was left out in the breeze. I'm sure he feels very "out in the breeze" with the whole defense itself and the fact that his parents seem to be going along with it.

I have a creepy feeling that Lee doesn't even know he has been accused of molesting her. If he is truly following sequestration rules, he might not.

By golly, I hate to admit it, but JB was actually able to prove within 2 witnesses how dysfunctional this family truly is. All I have to say is, Point for the Defense. They may just save KC's life after all.

How many of us here at WS have come from dysfunctional families and worse. That does not give anyone the right to kill their innocent baby....and I do not believe psycho families give mitigation to baby killers.

I wonder if Lee was supposed to say he was angry because he thought there was a possibility the baby was GA but he just couldn't do it.

It would make sense to me that that was the story.

They left me out and I was angry because I knew they we're doing it because dad could be the father...blah blah

Maybe. Maybe he was supposed to throw GA under the bus and couldn't get the words out. Maybe that's why Casey was crying too, even before Lee gave the testimony about being angry and hurt--she knew what was coming. But I think he told the truth.

JMO, of course. I am not a chemist.

Am I the only one who does not see any implications of LA's current testimony to his molesting ICA? I got the exact opposite feeling as if he was more of a victim in this family. I would love to hear someone's line of thinking on this...

I wish I had a remote control like in the movie "Click" to see how all this is gonna turn out.
