Deputy Dayton Forgey called.
JB: I'd like to show you a drawing, Def. Ex. E-J. take a look at that. Is that a drawing that you drew?
DF: Yes.
JB: And that was in testimony earlier, July 11, 2011. What was in the garage space, Ms. Anthony's vehicle and another vehicle.
Yes.
And did you testify that there were two vehicles there?
Yes.
Did you testify it was a blue car?
Yes.
Do you know what the license plate was?
No.
And with the dog, you started with the blue car?
Yes.
Is there anyone who can corroborate that there was a second car there?
Yes, I'm sure.
Who else saw you deploy your dog on these two cars?
My superviseror Mike Cardin, and Bloise, and I believe Mike Vincent was there also.
And is this the first time that you've ever mentioned your supervisor being present?
No I mentioned it in deposition and whenever you asked me.
So the individuals you mentioned can testify that you deployed your dog on two cars, correct?
Yes.
There's no reason you deployed your dog on the other car?
To make sure the dog's mindset was correct. Settled in, calm.
And it has nothing to do with your training to prevent handler bias?
Training is different than real world. This was the only vehicle we were questioning but there are lots of cars there in that lot.
You could have had them drive this car to another lot, no?
I guess.
You could have asked them to drive the car out of the garage, no?
It was evidence, I don't know if I could have moved the car.
Could you have had the move the car out of the garage?
I'm just not sure.
BAEZ very <self-edit> today. VERY <self-edit>.
