According to Mermaid, who also worked for Gentiva in the Orlando area, Cindy did have that ability...

Perhaps....having the ability doesn't mean she did home visits. Maybe she lied about it. CA, I mean.

I think there was a reason..she got up to go but the guard (is that Ms. Baker?) made her sit back down. Maybe there are people in the hallway or something. She sure was annoyingly chatty and flirty though. Not a care in the world.

Yes, she is "always pleasant", nothing bothers her, she's not sitting in jail crying...

I just keep thinking of people like JVM who before trial kept defending JB. I remember her saying right before jury selection that he must have something up his sleeve..he's so confident. And he's a smart man. And nice. Last night she was not happy at all with his treatment of GA. I keep thinking, this is it?

What happened with saying they (Gentiva) couldn't get some record until Wednesday? Does that mean we will still have a trial Wed. and the jury won't have deliberations this weekend?

what was the last name of the "Bible" people that lived down the street from ICA?

yeah..I don't get that.:waitasec: Even OJ was escorted out immediately during his trial...(and you know how important HE was.)

ETA: Wait a minute! The quote button picked up the wrong post. It was a reply to momtective's post about why ICA can hang around after the session is done for the day.

Sorry about that gngr.

What was Ashton saying when Ashton gave him the finger? I could not hear him in your little clip.

It looked like he was doing it because he knew he was on camera like KC did in the hearing.

If I had flipped someone off in court in a case like this, my mom would have told me I was a moron and she raised me to be better than that, and she'll see me in six days, and hopes I find a way to come up with the money.

Mine too.

And I'm thankful to her for that. It made me who I am today. My parents did their jobs-they were tough when they needed to be, yet loving and fair. They weren't enablers like George and Cindy are (MOO).

Why is ICA allowed to sit around after court has been dismissed and shoot the breeze with the guard and members of her DT?

I wonder what Casey will do. She can't take her DT to the big house with her.

Perhaps....having the ability doesn't mean she did home visits. Maybe she lied about it. CA, I mean.

Even still, when one does home visits, does one not have to document them, and don't those records need to be retained, legally? Or is it going to be that Cindy faked up home visit documents, with no concern for liability, just like Casey faked up work emails and events?

I just watched the video. That guy wasn't flipping off Ashton. He was flipping off the camera... all the viewers.

If this has been asked I am sorry. Were any of ya'll able to make out what ga letter said? It was a blur to me. Thank's so much.

ALERT National Enquirer reports that River Cruz caught smuggling a 4k bird in courtroom & is now going thru grief counseling.

Does anyone know if the contents of the suicide note have been made public yet? I tried to read it, but it was just too difficult to see what it said based on the pictures.

you don't need counsel for a contempt of court he wasn't arrested. this isn't a criminal charge.

:waitasec: I thought HHJP said he was charging him with Criminal Contempt of Court?!? COC is not a civil charge, it's definitely criminal. MOO

Well kids, I'm off... need to clean the heck out of this house so I can justify sitting in my chair watching the States Rebuttal and Closing statements so the husband doesn't get testy with me and I won't have to give him the courtesy of affection of flipping him off for interrupting my trial watching. Have a good afternoon!

The jury is shielded from any interaction with the random public. When they are moved from the courtroom, they are immediately taken to the jury room, and when they leave the jury room to go elsewhere, the corridor is cleared to ensure they have no contact with random members of the public.

Hypothetically speaking, even IF a juror saw someone flip the middle "finger of affection" to JA or to anyone else, I think the jurors have enough common sense to know that he was just a dumb kid who needed to be taught some manners & respect for the Court.

If the middle finger of anyone disturbs this jury (and would sway them one way or the other), then the Court has more serious concerns than the adolescent actions of the bird-flipper.

MOO

With all due respect, he knew the rules. Regardless of whether or not it actually impacted anything, he still broke the rules. He admitted he had seen the sign, he admitted he had no good reason for doing it. Too bad, so sad.

I work in an FDA-regulated environment. Are there tons of tiny things we could do that are 99.99% unlikely to have an impact on the final product? Yes, but we DON'T, because there are policies and rules in place.

He's not a child. Two to six days in jail won't kill him.

1. I am really craving Friday's potato skins right now.
2. I hate being wrong! I thought she was gonna testify! Do not tell my husband I was wrong about something. It will ruin my rep. :innocent:

:tyou::tyou:

WOW ... Thanks for the video link ... he sure is flipping his middle finger

But it really looks more like he was just doing it for attention than because he has anything against JA. In other words, he realized that his face was clearly visible on camera and he wanted to impress his little friends by making that gesture where they would be able to see it memorialized. Planking would have been a safer choice, I think.
