I don't feel for one second HJBP is trying to rush the trial along.

The DT has tried stalling by bringing up ridiculous objections, not doing their homework, not to mention violating numerous court orders.

They have had THREE, let me say it again, THREE years to prepare for this case. JB also has numerous seasoned attorneys as well as a number of interns which could have helped him. He chose to try and be a superstar.

I don't see him rushing anything either. He is bending over backwards to let the incompetent DT do anything they want.

I would LOVE to see HHJP say "Mr. Baaaeeezzzzz, I am tired of you wasting the taxpayers money, my time, the states time, the court employees time, the jurys time, and I am going to put a stop to it and we are going to finish this trial. Sit down and shut up!"

I know he can't say that, but I would LOVE him to be able to. :great:

I dunno, I think the grieving grandmother/mother thing went out the door the day it was apparent she was lying to save ICA's backside. At least for me it did.

IMO, I don't think so!!! Why even take the oath then? It means nothing! It says the truth and nothing but the truth.......
If the relative was truly innocent, you would then have nothing to lie about...

This statement caught my attention. I've tried to understand when someone says, "oh poor CA she "lost" her granddaughter and now she's trying to save her daughter". CA "lost" her granddaughter baby CayLEE because CA's daughter KC murdered CA's granddaughter baby CayLEE. It's not as though baby CayLEE was "lost" in an accident, and then there's a seperate issue of KC being on trial for another reason for which she is innocent of. There is NO WAY I could ever try to save the person who murdered my granddaughter, even it that person were my child. MAYBE there's something wrong with ME, I don't know, but I do know I wold want nothing to do the person who murdered my granddaughter.

I agree with your take here. The fact that ICA and Caylee are involved in this case makes a world of difference. Caylee's right to life takes precedence over ICA's desire to get away with homicide.

And this case goes beyond just the Anthony family. CA lying for ICA, and letting her wrongly go free, could threaten the larger society. ICA could have a new baby, for instance, and bring harm to that innocent bystander.

Casey was a cute 5 year old girl....... and now look what she's become .

I feel very sad when I see the video of 5 year old Casey. I've always thought she's a pretty girl... not that pretty girls don't do horrific things.

Just watched the video of Casey as a little girl. I was immediately struck with how grown-up she was dressed. French braid with bow, bedazzled jacket and pearl earrings. This is how I dressed back then, and I was thirty years old!

I got a creepy feeling about how maturely she was dressed for such a little girl. IMO.

I didn't follow the case before this, though I started watching after jury selection on day 1 of the trial itself. However I have been reading here and doing some external reading the jurors have not - so I'm not a good representation either...

Having said that, what was presented in court spoke more to her guilt than anything I read or saw that was not admitted as evidence. Especially yesterday's pet testimony, which tied all the pieces together for me.

ITA and thought that this particular testimony about the pet burial was the ONLY "AH HA!" moment in the whole trial for me.

You know I wish I could have seen her as a 5 year old without prejudice but while watching that I just kept thinking - what an evil little girl, she isn't cute to me at all.

I can't even see innocence in her at 5 years old, not after everything I know and suspect about her.

I cannot post here the vulgar words that came out of my mouth after deciding to turn the tv back on after a couple of hours and there was KH.

I can't believe the airtime given to her today, it is repulsing!!

I agree and am boycotting HLN. It's disgusting that they interviewed her in the first place, and even more despicable that they are now replaying her. Join me in the boycott!

P.S. Isn't she subject to recall? How can she be doing this? Pathetic.

Why NOT go after her... she is costing the State additional money and giving Baez time to delay AGAIN..... most of this delay today is all HER fault.... and if a person in the audience is in contempt, then so is CINDY and she should have to pay for her PERJURY.... what's the point of having a perjury law if it is not used in this case. I also felt sorry for her for a while, but after her lying, i thinnk it is only fair she be charged with perjury.

I have no idea how this legally works,but HHJP was clearly angry to hear about the "mis-truth" and seemed to be focusing on what the defense knew.
Perhaps he thought they should have verified CA's claims .

you are right that it would be the fair and correct thing....

but I am thinking it is throwing more good money down the drain as we know they were on the verge of losing their house...

I do hope we hear more about JB and what happens after this....

I wondered that myself. I think they will cuff her immediately. Seems they would consider her more dangerous or more of a risk since she's just been found guilty. No longer presumed innocent should make a person more dangerous in their eyes.

Correct me please. And....different places probably operate with different procedures. But..

we did not see SP handcuffed. I believe they just escorted him out of the court room like every other day. The first we saw of him in jail clothes and cuffed was when they brought him to the van and he bonked his own head getting in,

She was a really cute kid. It is sad, because Caylee would be 6 now, and wish all were well with all of them , really.
