I still want to know what her revenge on GA is about. If you don't think he abused her, what do you think might be the problem?

My theory is that GA tried to hold her accountable for her actions and CA squashed GA's parenting. I'm not sure, but because GA tried to verify she wasn't working at one point and CA told him to mind his own business, that is what leads me to that theory.

I agree. GA wanted to hear the truth from KC whereas CA wanted to only hear the appearance of what she knew was a shape-shifting truth from her daughter. I think KC is done w/Orlanda and if so, does she know her infamy will follow her wherever she goes? Unfortunately, OJ had no problems with dating after his trial and I am sure there are plenty of men just waiting for KC to pop into their lives. In the end, like OJ, I think she will implode from within, but will never ever tell what happened to dear Caylee. If some vigilante doesn't take her out, I believe she will take out herself but it may take some time.

My second bet is that she will follow JB to the legal system and become some part of it, whichever role she finds the easiest. I hope she does not pretend to have found God and go that route, stating a church. Jim Jones proved that a narcissist is capable of mass murder, not "just" a hey-I-killed-my-kid-and-got-away-with-it murder. The KC koolaid could become very volatile indeed.

No, it's the same here logicalgirl. Our GPs (those who are willing considering the malpractice insurance) provide prenatal, delivery and postpartum care as well. In the event of an at risk mother or fetus, an OBGYN or a perinatologist would take over the case. Otherwise, no need to have a gynecologist unless it is a personal preference. The defense's insinuation that ICA wasn't taken to an OBGYN until her pregnancy was discovered due to fears of the discovery of evidence of molestation was ridiculous.

And speaking ridiculous, what "girl" of nineteen needs her mother to take her to the doctor. Here in Canada, you can see a doctor of your choice or your family physician with complete confidentiality from your parents, for any advice, examination, birth control advice or pregnancy information. By sixteen, any young woman should be encouraged to know about and care for her own body.

What? As soon as you are pregnant, you are referred to an OBGYN (if you want one) and it doesn't cost anything extra. That has been my experience in two provinces and I have never heard of anything remotely similar to what you have described in any province. *Doulas don't deliver babies but provide support for the mother.

Back on the topic of the thread: Its hard to believe anything the family or the defensive team says. I'm sure Cindy wold have Casey back home, but it doesn't seem like Casey wants that. That may change once she is no longer incarcerated.

I didn't say dulas deliver babies but that midwives and dulas deliver babies - the dula works to support the mother during the process but in my experience and have friends who used the process, the dulas never quite made it to the birthing scene.

Oh I didn't say you couldn't be referred to an OBGYN at any time if you wanted to see one or if you believe you have issues - of course you can. And women are seeing them more and more often because the average age of women giving birh has risen and so have the complications - dramatically.

My point was - an OBGYN is a specialist - and I have had to opportunity to see one whenever I wanted to. But pregnancy is a natural state, and if a woman is healthy, an OBGYN isn't an essential part of pregnancy.

I don't have a link but I heard CA/GA left court shortly after the verdict was read because the guards told them it would be a good idea. It had nothing to do with their feelings about ICA, it was more of a safety issue for them.

They got what they wanted and now she'll soon be free. The irony would be rich if GA/CA went to jail for perjury and ICA lived in their house while they were in jail.

If ICA is not marketable for a book/movie deal/interview then she'll return home to her parents. She has no place else to go and I highly doubt she'll ever get a real job.

I agree. I think the jury found GA so unlikeable because that is how he wanted to appear. His bickering with Baez, long hesitations and looking down before answering important questions gave me the impression he spent time getting coached on how to appear as if he is being deceptive.

Because JB and CM have been talking about the trauma, ect. that ICA went through, and is still going through, she will probably apply for social security disability payments. That's what CA is getting, from what I understand. Because of all the doctors who have diagnosed her, she probably would go to the head of the list. She could probably get it for a diagnosis of "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder"

The tax payers may have to take care of her for years..JMHO

To get SSDI she would have to have paid into the system for a certain number of years. So, no worries there.

I believe a doctor in the US can give birth control to any young woman/teen who requests it and they do not have to inform the parents. This was done a long time ago to try and curb teen pregnancies. I would imagine kids being as they are today a fully aware they have that option. CA had to have had good insurance coverage. Children who are being sexually abused have signs and I can't believe CA never took KC to a pediatrician before she turned 18. My granddaughters go for their yearly physicial plus sick visits. I know their doctor has had talks with both of them about good touching and bad touching and how to tell the difference and how important it is to tell a parent, teacher or to tell him if they feel uncomfortable with an incident. KC had no problems running through thousands and thousands of dollars from her family. She was not afraid of anyone. They were afraid of her and from defense's opening statement with good cause. jmo

I suspect Casey will be somewhat of a freak show and there is a line up of losers waiting to take her home so they can record a secret sex tape and sell it. People wanting to be around her won't be there because they like her. She will only attact people trying to make a buck off of her.

I am totally with you on this. I am in California, my mom was an RN. I had a car at 16. I would no sooner let my mom take me to the doctor at that point!

I am 46 and Still I have never gone to an OB-Gyn? I work for a doctor by the way, however MOST women don't go to an ob-gyn, your family doctor can do all your female visits, birth control whatever you want (unless he/she is an idiot and can only diagnose colds and flu)

If Casey was hiding a pregnancy until near the end then she joins a long list of pregnant teenagers in this country LOL

And I can see the family all looking up at the ceiling, around the corner, down at the floor.. anywhere but at their teenage daughters baby bump.

I don't think the hiding of or slight feeling of scandal in the house over a pregnancy was any big deal.

Yes when they add it into other things maybe.. But on its own, that went down pretty normal.. down to the brother saying to her "what the heck.."

Trust me when I got birth control pills at *****(fill in age) my mom was not aware of it, and my visits to the doctor are private. My mom took me when i got vaccinated as a toddler and then maybe when i was 8 or 9.. then forget it.. I can do that myself lol

TO keep this on topic, NO she will not be going home, but hopefully she will be going to the OB-GYN for birth control.. Then off to Fusion
