I pray this is not taken in the wrong way, but as I noticed, productive members of society who had jobs were dismissed due to "hardship", as most jobs would not pay them for a 6-8 week trial. That leaves retirees (not saying they did not work their whole life), people in school who tend to be younger, housewives, disabled, and others on the "fringe" of society who do not have daily obligations. Also, I thought it bizarre if these people were telling the truth during jury selection, many indicated they were not up on world events, did not read many newspapers other than their local paper, did not do much reading on the internet, etc. Also, if anyone did not agree with the DP (which I will admit I do not, I could myself never serve no a DP jury as I do not believe in it), they were also dismissed. So you are left with what you are left with. IMO, MOO. that is why jury selection is SOOO important, IMO.
