Is it a condition that her father can't keep his gun if she's in the home ?
What are the laws regarding concealment in Florida ? In many states you can keep a gun in your glove box or purse. And, did he have it the last time she was out ? If so, they're a little late. If it's registered they should have known that a long time ago.
I don't think it was in the wheel well, but where the spare tire is. That seems like a pretty safe place to keep it. With all the threats against them, I can understand why he feels he might need it.
She has a right to bond, just like anybody else. If someone makes the decision to hurt her, it is their fault, not hers. It's unfortunate that a lot of LE and military lean towards the government having total control of the citizens while they retain all the power.
Regardless of my feelings towards CA, I want her to have every right that a citizen is entitled to and I would think that due to your affiliation with the military, you would to.
Or should I stop believing that the military exists to protect it's citizens and their rights ?
Yes, it IS a condition that there are to be no guns, and it's a condition that George willingly agreed to. This is not in any way a trampling of his rights. He AGREED to the condition. Now, I can understand why he might want some protection, but that's something he had to consider in deciding whether to agree to the bond conditions. Since he agreed to it, he has to follow the rules -- he can either have the gun or he can have Casey.
Regardless what anyone's position is about gun control or the right to bear arms, the law IS what it IS at any given point in time, and we all have to follow it.
You were extremely rude to Nurse and her husband and offensive to our entire military with that nasty comment. Because GA's gun is retrieved pursuant to the law and conditions HE himself agreed to, somehow LE and military -- including Nurse and her husband -- don't give a hoot about citizens' rights?!?
That's an incredibly illogical "if...then" conclusion on your part, and an uncalled for insult towards a fellow poster and her family who have no doubt sacrificed so that you have the right to sit here and insult them. Think about that!
