I have never followed LISK previously at WS.

I watched the show last night and it had me riveted. Great show and kudos to the producers for finding all the people that were on the show.

I cringe sometimes as to having innocent names put out there during their investigation and how the legal people approved all that. Just curious.

Question- who is this Peter person and what is his background and how did the producers find him? He was highlighted so very much during the show but I have never heard of him before.

I did not switch the channel to the Kohlhepp show that I was planning to as I was captivated by this show.I'm looking forward to the next 6 installments!

Thanks to those that brought this tragic chain to mainstream!

Hi! Thanks for sticking with the show! Peter Brendt is an amateur profiler and we actually found him on Websleuths YEARS ago...

Has anyone checked "escort forums" most likely forums pertaining to NY escorts?. You'd be amazed at the amount of info you could fine, especially in sub forums for NY street workers and/or out calls etc etc

Former SCPD Chief Dormer said in an interview police never confirmed the use of burlap. He said that was something the media ran with but then again he didn't deny it.

For those who haven't seen, search for his "Get Secure Gilgo Beach" interviews on Arrow Security's YouTube channel. Some interesting tidbits if new to the case, esp for out of towners

Great resource yup!

First let me say congrats on a very well done show. I had seen promos and wanted to watch but for some reason forgot when it was on and last night caught both episodes by accident and was literally lost in it. Very eerie and informative. As a New Yorker who now lives in Ohio I had heard a lot about the case but had not heard anything in quite a while.

As I was watching I was wondering one thing, the cross dressing male. If he was indeed the same person who went missing from the church is it possible that with the theory of 2 serial killers, that one intentionally kidnapped, beat and dressed the Asian as a woman as a way of taunting or insulting the other killer. I would assume that the handling of the body would suggest rage and most likely the intention of dropping a male dressed as a female would be to emasculate and embarrass the other killer when it was found on "his" dumping grounds.

Thanks for checking out the show! I feel the cross-dressing male could break the whole case... so so specific of a victim right? So hard to determine his intentions... did the killer feel "tricked" and so that's why asian male was beaten so badly? But then I think asian... that so doesn't resemble his perfect victim... even if it's 2 killers.. all these women were caucasian... with exception of one of the Jane Does... believe LE alludes to her being hispanic or part african american.

But if we can ID Asian Male... so much info there.... a timeline, a narrative can be created..

Jumping in here randomly (like I tend to do sorry)...am i recalling correctly?? >> when the killer made contact with the sister, the calls pinged off towers near Times Square & also Madison Square Gardens <<< IF IIRC, my question is --- do we know the date??? Was there something happening at Madison Square that could connect to the caller/killer??? If nothing else perhaps an interest of his???

Grasping...but totally intrigued by last nights first 2 episodes. Sad I will have to miss Tuesday nights radio show :( Looking forward to next Saturdays episode (3).

I can't possibly catch up here, (holy threads sleuthers), though I have been trying since the shows...so apologies if all of this has already been discussed.

What a massive case to take on....the shows last night were so informative but also made me want to ask more questions, I haven't entirely followed this case...but I am now!

Questions:

1) Is there an "Official" profile of the possible killer? I mean, put out by LE.

2) Have NYC taxi cab drivers been considered at all? Just thinking of the Penn Station area/angle and the cabs there in addition to trains.

3) Has the garment district in nyc been considered as a source for the burlap...*if the burlap is really a part of this all.

4) Is there a key player list and a WS initials abbreviation list? I have seen a few initials that I don't know who they are and new to this case, I am getting confused.

TIA all!

No need to feel sad tarabull because the Websleuths Radio Show is available to listen to/download just a few minutes after the live show ends.

Here is the link so you can listen at your leisure http://www.blogtalkradio.com/websleuths/2016/11/16/the-killing-season-on-ae

This Tuesday 8:00 PM Eastern with Josh, Rachel, and special guest Todd Matthews - Director, Case Management and Communications at NAMUS

I sometimes wonder about the " Burlap". We often use burlap sack to describe a woven sack that can be nylon or acetate. I may have that wrong but burlap, a Jute fiber is difficult to find in northern New England. Most garden sacks are nylon or polypropylene weave AFAIK..
If anyone has any info I would love to know!

The other part of that is that some victims were found wrapped in burlap that was decayed?
