I'm new to posting on here. I have been following this case for years, Amber Costello lived apx 3 blocks from us, and we've had private passes to Babylon beaches for years. I decided to register with websleuths on Feb 19 2016 in an unbelievable horrible irony that night the tenant who occupied the other side of my house stabbed his girlfriend to death. Her mother and I discovered her body and his attempted suicide the next day. The detectives who were on scene at my house are now the leads on LISK. Very, very nice guys. Dedicated. Just thought I'd put that out there I felt a little weird not disclosing that. I admire all of you so much, the work you do is amazing.

Many, many times.Has anyone checked "escort forums" most likely forums pertaining to NY escorts?. You'd be amazed at the amount of info you could fine, especially in sub forums for NY street workers and/or out calls etc etc
I'll admit I've had a cocktail so my tweeting will either be hilarious, tragic, embarrassing, or just plain OK.
Here is an artist's rendering of what I look like drinking a Martini. Yes, I do resemble Christopher Walken when I drink...sometimes.

I'm working on just such a summary. It will take a few days to complete, though, because of the amount of data. Even the basics are a handful, and if I'm going to do it, I want to do it in a way that makes sense and is easy to follow.Bessie, could we perhaps get a "sticky" thread posted with the basics of the case for quick review? Victim X found on this day, ID/no ID, basic description, etc. I have never dug deep into this case until now, and I'm guessing there will be others coming in for the first time as well. So much info in so many pages of threads to try to wrap my head around.
Agreed. I think (hope) it will shed light on just how many murders of sex workers (and others) around the country are unsolved, and the communication flaws in the system.A&E The Killing Season Episode 6 "A Killer On The Road" Nov 26th at 10:00 pm, I hope will be a must watch episode.
Hi I want to talk to someone about a tip
Actively is an interesting word. I don't think Josh and I can separate ourselves from the case and cases we investigated in the show. I immersed myself in the LISK case for years. I'm no longer driving to Long Island every other weekend to interview people but I still read every article, speak to family, press, LE (when they'll talk), I hope we get something we can "investigate" out of people watching the show.

Could be both if we're talking two or more killers. IF there are at least two, I believe the one who dismembers has deep rooted anger, possibly related to his upbringing (i.e.,mother issues, hates women, can't look at them without insufferable guilt).Do you think the perp picks the women because they are escorts and that is part of why he wants to kill them, or, does he target those women because they are easier for him to access and less likely to draw attention if they are missing?
Perhaps I have missed this in the past but I found what Peter Brandt said about the torso versus LISK to be very interesting. Particularly his theory that the torso killer may have moved his victims to Gilgo because he was angry that the killer of the GB 4 was getting too much attention. I think that they're multiple killers involved.
