A makeshift chair, shovel, and rope

Who knows? Interesting observation Madg, I would think LE would have taken that rope, the door (which they didn't) within hours of being notified and the investigation start to take place. Yes to the question about could LE/forensic experts compare/test the door rope versus the rope found in the woods along with possible other relevant evidence, they could tell if it was manufactured at the same time, pull dna, reveal many points of interest and evidence if they wanted to.

Did they even take the makeshift wooden chair/seat with rope attached in for forensic testing? I'm unaware if they did. This makeshift handy/convenient seat makes good for stalking/viewing/hunting/watching a target and activity within the ability of binoculars and night vision aids. Seems coincidental to the overall facts and events of the case for that makeshift seat to be present near the home Haleigh went missing from, not to mention no speak of it from LE. But that goes hand in hand with other evidence being spoken of in this case, no speak.

If I recall that chair at all, it was made with straps, not rope.

In the picture I have it looks like straps to me as well. What caught my attention was the mention of " A length of Rope " that was also found with other items.

The rope that was found in Feb 2009 was mentioned in the article but no picture.

Click pause right at the 1:01 mark of the video. The rope is wrapped on the inside and outside of the screen door handle. They show the MH that Haleigh went missing from then right after that a quick picture of a screen door with rope on the handle. I don't know if it is the screen door from Ron's MH or from Lindsey's. But the way they showed the pictures I thought it may of been from Ron's MH. Either way...there is rope and rope was found back in Feb in the same area the makeshift chair was found. I really wonder if LE compared the rope. I also wonder is rope was used to pull Nay Nay's car out when Amber got it stuck? Rope can be very telling.

That really looks like a homemande backpack for carrying animals out of the woods with.

We used to use very similar things for carrying out elk quarters.

I'm not sure where this white or off white door is from, but I don't think it's from 202 Green Lane. There are 3 screen doors at Green.

The door they took was the side "storm door". Aluminum with either glass or screen. I believe this was with glass but it was the outside door on the side where the ramp is if I remember correctly. Seems as though with the rope there, they would have tied the rope to the railing to keep it from moving yet there was a cinder block that was holding it open to keep it from slamming. It was said this was JO's mode of operation, (using cinder blocks to prop doors open). Seems odd to think that RC or MC would use the cinder block to stage the MH, rather than use the rope that may have already been there.
