Just wondering what Wilmott was attempting to do late today as she did a cross - she was going over so much on Dr. DeM's CV that it seemed to me that she was hoping/trying to trip up the Dr., or else she was very smitten with Dr. DeM's great CV!!

What she says:

She was trying to be Jaun, she FAILED!

That is exactly what I thought right out of the gate. Even DD15 commented on her epic fail at attempting to imitate JM. :floorlaugh:

I felt same way KCL .. JÀ not looking up and taking "notes".. it looked like she was writing words out of a text book..
gave credence to the "teenager" aspect of her character. Classic. Thanks for showing us an example of one of your BPD traits jodi.
This witness was awesome. He didn't keep her there for 2 weeks and he had her make superb points. Case closed. One step closer to Guuuilltyyy!

Thanks KatieC, enjoyed your info and your humor. A quick observation, Steven really looks drawn and sad lately, just wondering how he's doing--hear a lot about the sisters and how they are but not too much about about Steven. Just wondering. TIA

Hmmm...it's kind of hard for me to gauge as I actually talk to Steven more than anyone just recently. So I see him a little differently. This of course is taking a toll on all of them. And gearing up to the end/ victim impact statements, they are digging through memories. That in some ways is harder than facing the murderer.

I know this having just done the Ricki Lake show and the hardest part, for me, was having to dig through all those old photos for them. By FAR the hardest part was that.

Thank-you, katiecool!! :heartbeat: your notes as always!

JW questioned DeMarte like a rookie. :twocents:

Thanks for laughing at/with me guys- you shoulda seen me demonstrate it for my dad and brother- who of course howled- me all la dee da rushing in to the courtroom like I've got my act together- this is why I'm asked on the radio vs TV lol

Katie -- all I can say is I hope Orville didn't see that.

I have been reading here for years, but this is my first post, so hello to all the great posters here!

What are people's thoughts on what JA was scribbling all day? I thought perhaps she was drawing (she's gotta hurry up and sell her "art" before she's convicted). It looked to me to clearly be a soothing behavior for her. When she is usually taking notes, doesn't she still wear her glasses? She hardly wore them at all today.

Her behavior was so markedly different from most days and I wondered why her attys were letting her continue because it so clearly was confirming and demonstrating DeMarte's diagnosis of her. But then I entertained the notion that perhaps they were okay with it to attempt to keep her from reacting to today's testimony...which had to have been hard for her today. (I loved it!)

Thanks!
Alisa

Oh, and my FAVORITE part was the reading/intellectual test too, MeeBee!

Welcome Alisa! Thanks for the comment. I can say that drawing can be very calming.

The fact that this witness worked within the prison system, I think is Huge. She knows the operators and how they "operate"...I'm sure JA tried to "operate" on her and that is why it took this witness 12 hours of clinical interviews to know for certainty who this person was...She has her figured out.

Excellent point!

Thanks so much for that, I appreciate your sharing. Well for you and the Alexander family I'm putting out into the universe my prayer that peace and precious memories fill your hearts and minds. :heartluv:

JW still unsuccessfully trying to "bust" JD on giving weekly vs. monthly lectures and the clock has ticked over to 4:32.

Wrestler is packing up his notebook.

DISMISSED FOR THE DAY!

That's it folks! I'll be back tomorrow pm session for more! Tomorrow, I wear PANTS! :seeya:

:tyou: Thanks for all you do, KCL!!! Just can't thank you enough, so I won't even try... Just know that you are very much loved and appreciated!!!

:yourock:

Can I get in the K club too via the back door? I'm a Kristin too!

Amazing day today! KCL, was the family as happy with MISS DeMarte as we were?

Yes, I do feel confident in reporting that I believe they were!

btw PASA, although still dealing with medical issues in her family, did make it to the HH tonite. Unfortunately, I did not. I wasn't feeling that great and I needed to give someone special a ride home.

Thank you for your succinct notes. I normally watch the whole day but this has been a really weird day. DD #2 found out she is having a girl and DD#1 got pinned between two vehicles at work. So I had to take her to the emergency room. Amazingly she is only bruised. I think she has more bruised on her arms where she was beating on the car trying to get the driver's attention than on her legs. Whew. Could have been bad.

Donna's and Barb's are always welcome into into the K club.. I was just saying it was odd how many of us are Kathy derivatives, It's a bit odd.. but we love all. As well we are all here for the same thing, no one, NO ONE is an outcast <3

I know that:blushing: I was just kidding......We all have the same name Websluthers :rocker::rocker::rocker:

That's the double edged sword of the whole thing because, of course, the precious memories are also the most excruciating at the same time. It takes time to let those surface without torture.

KCL
Thank you once again for taking the time and sharing your notes from the inside.

The JW frustration that was going on - it was like watching her tie herself to a tree! Highlight of my day.

And re: your spanx incident... even if you upped it by having toilet paper stuck to your shoe, you still outclass the lot to the judge's left.

First I want to say :tyou: to EVERYONE who has been so gracious to provide their notes from inside the courtroom. It is such a privilege and treat to know what goes on on the “inside.” And dear KCL, though I sit here in California feverishly hitting refresh once you start posting your notes, I know that what you are doing is voluntary and if you chose to take time from posting your notes I would completely support that. Take care of yourself!! :blushing: :loveyou: You are so wonderful for everything you are doing for TA's family!!

I feel like I’ve found kindred spirits here!!
:grouphug: :loveyou:

As someone who suffers from PTSD, I am amazed that Jodi sits there completely unaffected by Dr D’s testimony and analysis today. Yet JA sits there completely apathetic and oblivious to what is going on around her while tears are streaming down my face just from hearing of all the symptoms of PTSD; the inconvenient times when I remember a sliver of the trauma I suffered, the ensuing memory loss of my actions following the recollection. Her defense is a disgrace to the true survivors of domestic violence and PTSD sufferers. :furious:

Did any of our courtroom observers notice the jury watching JA while she was writing/coloring during the entire day? They HAD to have been watching her...

I apologize if this post isn’t quite under the guidelines set by WS, my lurking time has been spent studying the guidelines and I’ve been to afraid and shy to post until now :blushing:

Welcome Destiny617! Great first post and good choice of thread!

Either that or once again reassuring herself that it was all Travis' fault.

Yes, I totally agree!!

On Topic - Thank you KCL for your hard work today. I am constantly thinking of the Alexander family and praying for them. I think today was a good day for the family.

PASA - Thinking of you and your family member and praying for you all. We miss you.
