My heart is always heavy for Travis's brothers and sisters. I say a prayer for them everyday. Since this trial started I've known that Travis was loved by his friends but videos like like this really bring it home to me how broken hearted and furious his friends must be. My heart is heavy for all of them.

There are no alternates at this point, I believe. They are all potential jurors. The lottery is done when before they start their deliberations. At that time they will be told if they are a juror or alternate.

This is kind of off topic, but when JSS and the attorneys were questioning each juror about whether or not they saw Juan signing autographs, etc., which eventually led to the dismissal of juror 5 for whatever reason, I read somewhere that Jodi and Travis' family were also in chambers at that time. Does anyone know if that's true or not? B/c that just doesn't seem right to me...why was Jodi in there? She shouldn't be able to have any kind of close contact with the jury, like be in chambers with them. Now, forgive me if I have this all wrong..I just remember reading it somewhere and I am no expert in law. I might have this all wrong, and by all means correct me if I"m wrong, I"m not trying to start any rumors. We all know how good Jodi is in "non-verbal communication," she probably sweetly smiled and sat all demure and everything. This could have an effect on the jurors, I can't believe that is allowed, I mean I don't know how close they would be sitting but I"m assuming chambers would not be huge.

Please I don't think I can take listening to the mitigation specialist that sits behind Nurmi (assuming they're televised). I can't stand her and I've never ever heard her speak. Just seen her laughing during testimony at all the wrong times. Seen her cozy up to Jodi during every sidebar and break. Probably coaching her how to fake-cry. Can't help but have my eyes distracted by her huge earrings and sometimes cleavage. I have noticed she has been behaving far more appropriately after her laughing outburst during ALV testimony, I"m sure JSS gave her a talking to.

Hey there. Don't be sorry...I'm happy to answer questions.

Let me say this is all my opinion based on my observations of the jury. I have no clue, obviously, what each juror is thinking. There are definitely some that seem more over it than others, and I think the juror's questions tell us for sure that at least some of them do not believe Jodi's version of events. We have to be careful, though, in assuming that is what they're ALL thinking.

So...that's why I'll hold my opinion on the DP. I think she deserves it, and I want to believe they'll give it to her. IMO.

Thanks for your response, My3Sons. I understand your point. We also don't know which ones are submitting the jury questions, and there are probably some who have never submitted a question. Then as KCL described, they have to listen to aggravating/mitigating factors if they decide 1st degree murder.
I have finally come to the conclusion in the hopefully last week of this trial phase, that in the end the jury will decide, they are the ones who will do it and nothing I say behind a computer screen will matter! So I have resigned myself to accepting their decision whatever it may be.
I think the thing that Jodi is so proud of - her verbal "abilities" - will in the end be her demise. Because she lied to this jury, she lied straight to their faces, soooo mannnny times. During direct, during cross, AND DURING THEIR OWN QUESTIONS TO HER. That is beyond stupidity. Even if one juror believes her version of events, how do they reconcile the fact that she contradicted herself from direct to cross to jury questions...she sometimes said one thing during direct, something different during cross, and THEN something else different when answering their questions (regarding the same event)?

Thank you so much for your support. It was hard to hear the defense continue to trash my parents. They are both passed away and died living a clean and productive life in the end. The defense continues to get lower when you don't think its possible. We are getting more anxious as the verdict is near. We just hope that the jurors will see through all Jodi's lies. It is very scary because they have been given limited information, that the rest of the world has the privilege to see. I just hope that Justice will prevail.

Did anyone just catch Beth Karas's on HLN. I knew defense filed a notice to JM advising additional testimony from Geffner surrebuttal witness this morning. Beth just hilighted Geffner wants to rebut Dr. Horn 's testimony about Travis being able to ambulate after gun shot wound. Are you kidding me???

Wow...judge should NOT allow that. Horn testified to that in the CIC. They had time to find someone to rebut that in their CIC and they didn't. They do not get a do-over and Geffner is not qualified to make such a claim...

EXACTLY! It's an annoying inconvenience but this will be easy for JM.

I'll definitely be praying, but I can't fast- Crohn's flare is really bad, but its almost like a fast anyway. I'd drink Gatorade to stay hydrated because that's what I usually do when I have to stay on liquids for a while. Lets all cross our fingers and toes.

I will be doing that for you Tiger :hug: and I am so sorry you are having a flare.

I am going to :blushing: myself and admit I have a disease that causes my immune system to attack my bladder, while everything functions fine, as normal... I go through terrible bouts of pain. The inside of my bladder is inflamed constantly. Like a constant UIT. Then I get flares on top of it that, it really gets bad. I understand what it is like to walk on egg shells in the hopes your system doesn't get pizzed off. I will be hoping and praying your system gives you a break especially since you are trying so hard to do something nice for someone else.

I thought it would be great to do some kind of detox after fasting but again it's the ingredients that would be the problem. For example if I drank what KCL explained she has drank I would be in E.R. having morphine pumped into me while I wait for my insides to go back to their normal terrible self instead of extra terrible. The rule to follow, don't eat or drink anything that would hurt if say you put it on a cut. Pepper, citrus :hills: I can't have chocolate or wine people... my husband hides in the garage sometimes. :lol:

So, I hope this isn't too off topic if I ask if anyone knows a gentle detox for the body?

Hi all..... I do not know who the mitigation specialist is however the jury has probably seen a lot of what you have seen. The Alexander Family are the important ones. Speaking from experience I found that the jury was very attentive, caring, and seemed genuine as I spoke to them from the stand. I made a point to look at their eyes, I saw kindness, understanding... Unlike what I saw sitting in front of me, the person that murdered my dad.

My heart is with the Alexander Family, their lives will never be the same, the pain never goes away.
