If RA is guilty as charged, his eyes probably looked black that day. Very large pupils can do that.

I call them shark eyes. EEEK.

The 'eye' witnesses only saw RA as they passed for a moment or 2. One said he was acting creepy, walking fast with his head down 'like he had somewhere to be'. Her words. These were the girls that RA passed on the Freedom Bridge while he made his way to the Monon High Bridge.

They were eerily correct on a majority of things. General height correct, general weight correct, general clothing correct (one said blue, one black but in the sun it could have appeared either way to one or the other). I don't know that I would have been half as aware.

Plus, RA puts himself there at that time and admits to seeing those girls. RA = BG = Killer(s)

IMO

Perhaps, but according to this link it was sunny from 7:54 am until 5:54 pm in Delphi, IN on Feb.13th 2017.
My pupils decrease in size in the daylight sun. :)

Sure, right, go on and believe that. But the wife is not divorcing RA, is she? As she would most likely do if he killed those 2 girls. In my opinion, its because he actually did not confess and the prosecutor is way overstating the alleged "confession". Folks need to be more skeptical in their thinking, until the evidence is revealed, in my opinion.
It’s not uncommon for spouses to be in denial in cases like these. Many don’t file for divorce until after conviction for a plethora of reasons. Pressure from family, financial advantages, genuine denial, or how it may taint the jury pool.
The jail recorded the calls and forwarded it to prosecution. Defense verified that the statements were incriminating.
I see no reason to doubt their validity.

Sexual arousal, aggression and adrenaline can cause the pupils to dilate.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

There is nothing in the FM that indicates LE did not investigate the Odinist angle thoroughly except defense team fantasy.
Maybe that could be proven at trial, if the defense ever allows it to go to trial, but there is zero right now we know that indicates there was anything wrong with that investigation, despite what the defense desperately wants the public to believe.
How awesome for the defense, those princes of integrity, who told/lied to the judge that they didn’t want the case tried in the papers, that they get to spew their tales for all to see without even having to prove any of it! If this was the prosecution it would be labeled a kangaroo court. The defense is doing this in reverse. Feeding lies and half truths. What are they afraid of?
<modsnip> Surely if RA had been arrested after such an investigation folks would truly be up in arms.
We know nothing about the prosecution’s case, but the defense does and they are doing everything they can to delay and delay the trial. What are they afraid of? Get to court and defend the man. Disprove the evidence, cross examine the witnesses, duel with the specialists.
It is absurd we are at this point.
Get to the trial. Guilty or innocent, that’s where we’ll have an answer, not from one sided narratives by the defense.
They can't defend the evidence against RA IMO and that is why we are where we are.

I couldn't have said it better, it's truly absurd that we are at this point. The Appellate Attorney and the Defense both said in the Oct 18 SCOIN oral arguments that they were still ready to go in Jan, that was another key point in how unfair it would be to replace them now.

We know they have a signed MST from last August. Throw that sucker on the table and let's get this thing done by a jury of his peers.

I initially thought about him coming and going using Bridge Creek since it goes within a couple of hundred yards from his house.

But then I looked closely at the creek and terrain and it is massively overgrown and that would make a very difficult hike.
There is a foot path under i25 that br
Has anybody attempted to map this? I am geoloco challenged.

Would welcome a map of bridges in relation to paths, benches, parking lots, etc.
I just used Google maps.
There is enough resolution in satellite view to see people and and deer made trails along and around Bridge Creek.
Bridge Creek was basically in Abby's backyard.

I remember when we used to have posters that would go to Delphi, on the ground, and report back to us. What a long strange trip it's been.

Trapped and once he looked back over his shoulder and saw nobody coming up the trail from the parking lot side, he probably went very fast towards A&L and that is what probably sparked her to turn on her phone and record him.

If it wasn't for that evidence, even though LE dropped the ball, I don't think RA would have come forward or the LE would never have enough evidence to identify him then arrest him.
Do we know what date RA spoke to the CO?

In June Judge Gull unsealed all but 19 records: (who knows how much more they have now since this June 2023 date?)

<snipped & BBM>

Per Gull’s order, 19 of the original 137 documents in the case are still sealed. Those include the list of witnesses that include names of juveniles, as well as the unedited version of the probable cause affidavit — which outlines how Allen is allegedly connected to the murders.

How I wish we were able to read those 19 sealed documents, I wonder what they are exactly, but I'd bet they would answer a lot of questions. I respect that the Judge didn't release them because of possible prejudice to the Defendant (IMO), but I would really like to see LE's outline of how RA is connected to the murders.

So much more evidence against RA than we the public know IMO.

New Court Docs: Prosecutors believe knife was used in Delphi murders
As I'm reading your comment it occurs to me just how sad the defense memo really was and it makes me even more angry at them.

The judge trying to preserve RA's chance to get a fair trial by not releasing documents that might taint a jury and the public opinion and then the defense releases that memo with all those details and their own interpretations and ideas on what happened and what all the details of the crime scene indicate in order to sway public opinion away from their client. Just makes it all the more twisted that they did that instead of allowing things to play out and the information to be presented (or not) in court during a trial where both sides could present and refute things at the same time.

Interesting that the judge seems to be trying to get a fair trial for RA and the defense is the very ones that are trying to create fantasy stories and get the public fired up and angry, which is going to make it harder to get a fair trial. WHY IS THAT?

I think it's because they know he likely did this and that is the only way they can possibly get attention away from the actual facts that show their client is guilty. This is my opinion.. not saying they think he's guilty as fact.. just that their antics are making me question why they need all the dramatics in this case? If he's innocent, then no need to create the chaos.. just let the facts come out in court and show why he isn't the guy. Perhaps they can't.. because he is the guy.

Agree.
They manufactured content for conflict.
Predictable - hopefully not successful.

In the midday sun?? Do you have a link that states this happens in broad daylight? I’m seriously interested.

Hey SusiQ, I know that this wasn't addressed to me, but here is something that might help:

In the midday sun?? Do you have a link that states this happens in broad daylight? I’m seriously interested.

Possible Causes

What are the most common causes of dilated pupils?

The most common causes of dilated pupils are:
  • An eye exam (eye drops used to examine nerves and retina).
  • A reaction to medication.
  • A brain injury.
  • The use of recreational drugs.
  • Sexual arousal (increased production of oxytocin hormone).
  • Adrenaline.

Thank you @layer! I’m still skeptical about RA=BG but I haven’t ruled him out completely. What I object to is pinning this horrendous crime on ONE person. That’s all. There’s so much more going on here and hopefully if this EVER gets to trial, we’ll hear about it. Even then, I suspect some things will never see the light of day. JMHO

I don’t believe we know which witness stated his eyes weren’t blue and what the setting he/she observed him. Could have been in the trail under the shade of tree limbs above between 130-2pm or could have been the witness driving alone 300N heading East as he walked west at 3:57 pm. Or someone else entirely.
Please correct me if we know the identity of the witness and when they observed RA.

I do know that I have looked at many images of RA, the most recent being the last time he made an appearance in court. As he came up the stairs and then later going down. His eyes appeared dilated and not blue IMO. In some photos they do appear light slate blue. So perhaps they look different under different circumstances.
I also have watched JG numerous times couldn’t tell you what color her eyes are.
Witnesses aren’t perfect. Thankfully the state has more than one.

I often thought that Bridge Creek would be part of this crime.

The Bridge Creek i25 area is an entrance to the woods behind the Williams house, and if this was a more premeditated crime it has access to peep on Abby.

The area is laced with informal trails around and through the woods, and the main Bridge Creek foot path is slated to be added to the formal MHB/Deer Creek Trail system.

I have scoured that Bridge Creek area on Maps and many times thought he might have exited out Bridge Creek, going under i25, then on into what is actually RA's Whiteman Rd. neighborhood area.
In this scenario, would he have walked back to his house and left his car parked at the CPS building? Then returned later to get it? That might account for it not being picked up on the HH camera in the relevant timeframe.
