I can't imagine living that life. I've never even had a moving traffic violation. I knew that if I got into trouble, jail would be heaven compared to the impact it would have on my parents. What a hard lesson to learn.. But when you do those types of things, they have to restrain everything you do because they can't trust you. I'll bet Jodi is hating that..... And I can't help but :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: at that idea.

It's standard procedure to continue to ask for DP to be removed. As you see, that was denied. Notice that date was May 9.

I saw John Wayne Gacy's artwork that he was selling from prison and OMG it was frightening stuff! But it sold anyway, because of his infamy. I don't think JWC as law-abiding citizen could have sold even one painting.

I don't care if Jodi is getting donations. Jodi Arias, convicted murderer, does not have her freedom and unless there is a way she can buy that, money is not going to do much for her.

In fact, it could serve to remind her of all she has thrown away.

There are actually website that sell and auction their stuff. People actually collect it. I can't fathom having anything connected to a killer in my home and I wouldn't pay a cent for anything they offer.

I'm sure it will be confirmed that it is standard SOP in a Death Penalty case once the guilty verdict is rendered. I'm actually surprised it wasn't already prepared and ready to file earlier. They have to justify the billing, so I guess they really couldn't prepare it until it was actually a necessity.

It will be denied.

Jodi will have an appeal. I am not sure how many she gets but at least one. Much like OJ is going through now. If she gets the DP, can the prosecutor use the post interview against her?

Not sure how long it takes in AZ, but in the Westerfield appeal - it took 10 years to get here, and won't be heard for another 3. I heard he wasn't doing all that well (could be Parkinson's, I'm not sure). So perhaps he won't even make it to the needle.

One can hope

If Jodi sits on DR for 13 years with no contact, I'll be more than pleased. I don't want to see her in another courtroom - ever.

Which is why protocol now seems to be winning a wrongful death civil case because damages awarded in that venue will take care of any future profits these criminals stand to make while incarcerated or beyond. Unless they get good at hiding their assets like OJ.

Well, don't you think that is Jodi and company's intent? They will go to the end of the earth to make sure any money contributed to or earned by Jodi will not go to the Alexander family.

:seeya: I can't imagine the terror Travis felt in his final minutes of his life here on earth. The crime scene photos at the bathroom sink tell us that Travis saw himself in the mirror as JA stabbed him over, and over, and over again. And I believe the convicted murderer sealed her fate when she slit Travis' throat. :facepalm:

If the jurors were truthful during the death penalty qualification phase of the voir dire questioning, then I wouldn't be surprised if they put her on Death Row. She's already shown us that she's too manipulative to be trusted among the general population, even in a prison setting! I generally have mixed feelings about the Death Penalty, but not in her case. She's told the world she prefers Death over LWOP, so let's just give her what she wants. :moo:

(Btw, I've polled a few Arizona taxpayers about this, and they're all voting DP. They don't want anymore of their $$$ wasted on that monster!)

Here's the deal. Do we have any evidence that her parents thought she was capable of murder as a child? After she turned 18, there was nothing they could do.

IMO it's extremely petty to blame her parents for anything here. It seems like they barely had any contact with her. Her mom said she wants Jodi to move back to California because of her mental problems. What else could she do?

They let her move out of the house at 15 to live with her boyfriend!! Who does that!

Appeals are handled by different attorneys who specialize in appeals. JW amd KN are trial lawyers.

That aside, Nurmi is going to run, not walk, away from Jodi when this is over with, and it won't be for the exercise.

I suspect today's "sealed hearing" was about the Convict's interview after the verdict. I did catch Beth Karas saying that the Maricopa Sheriff's Office's Public Information Officer (the head honcho) was seen leaving the courtroom. No doubt Judge Stephen's was interested in just how this little interview was allowed and was making sure such things did not happen in the future. That's my guess anyway.

JMO but I think :dramaqueen: got very out of control ... I do not think it was entirely because of her statements during her post verdict interview -- I think she really went ballistic !

And what I cannot believe is that NO ONE has "spilled it" as to what REALLY happened that day ... I really someone would TALK !

Remember ... there were ambulances and medics at the courthouse ... :scared: ... what else ... :scared:

My guess is that we may hear about it later. The medics at the courthouse may or may not have been involved.
