I would say that is a 2 1/4" brick. Here is a coursing chart that will show how tall 25 courses of bricks with mortar will be which is 5' 6". Add another 8" for the three additional courses to make 28 courses which would make him about 6' 2" tall.

Note: Doesn't mean he's the perp but goes to show how easy it is to get an approximate height of somebody.
I'm still a little confused about something though. Samantha doesn't look 140-160. If she's 5'4 or 5'5, anything near that approximation would be overweight for her age. In the pictures that I've seen of her she doesn't appear to be heavy. Could her weight have been given by a man that may be heavy himself therefore he'd think that's skinny compared to him? I'm sorry that it confuses me but her missing person's poster should be close to accurate. If she's in-between those weights, then her face shot is deceiving & the poster should also include a full length picture as well for perspective.
