No, I think she latched onto KC's case because of all the National news about it. In the beginning, it was on TV every night on Nancy Grace. Lyon is looking for the case that exposes her the most to the media and gets her alot of press. JMO

Or perhaps because it was a great oppportunity to take advantage of "hands on learning" for her students while she tends to more personal financial gains (re: book tour, etc)

Also, and I have no idea what I'm talking about legally and could be way off, but it seemed that the repeated phrasing of what and how it is done in Florida was also sticking it to the atty's from out of state....iow...we don't care how you do it in Cali or Ill. or wherever the he77 you're from, In Florida, it's done like this....:woohoo:

Regarding the check fraud trial...
I fail to see WHY she is required for this case. Didn't Judge S. state that it wouldn't require much effort? I know another Judge will preside over this case...or am I wong. If I am right....why wasn't this filed with that Judge referenced?
