Needle in a haystack going through the list of 6k+ accounts he is following, but thinking perhaps it would be manageable to look through the individuals who have Liked or engaged with multiple posts. This will likely be mostly his close friends or family, but sometimes social media activity will ramp up when two people first meet (Liking each other's content back and forth, etc.).

If there is someone he met the weekend he went missing (June 28 / 29, 2017), and he had plans to see them later on that weekend, perhaps they interacted on social initially.

The older one had gone missing early this summer. Not sure what is up with him.

Just want to keep this thread active, the more eyes and ears we have looking at this the better, as these are probably the most baffling missing persons cases I've known in Toronto.

If Andrew would visit areas in the village on a regular basis, what pathway would he take to walk from his place over there? People tend to be creature of habit so maybe it's someone who lives and or stays in the area between his place and the village?

I think he might be on Fido cell network (per his Facebook) which uses Rogers towers, so I added in a few towers in his neighborhood.

They're searching the Leslie St Spit today so I guessed at a walking route from his house.

I added in the approximate last know locations of 3 other missing gay men from that area, Skanda, Hamid & Bazir (missing since 2010-2012, never solved).

I indicated a general area where another local man is missing, Mark Pearson. Different area but close-ish.

of all the gay men missing, was he the only white man? seems that if these turn out to be the work of a serial ... race is no problem. just sexuality . maybe he can't come to terms with his own sexuality and is taking his anger out on others ( this is pure speculation and of my own thoughts)

also , if andrew went missing while going to have coffee with that couple, maybe he was lured with a ruse which could be anything, maybe someone close to him. if it is a serial , maybe the Sk frequents gay bars in the village where the men where reported missing. any news on the places where andrew frequented?

With the leaves beginning to change colour, people are likely to be on trails, walking the woods and generally more alert to surroundings, so hopefully Andrew will be located soon.
Perhaps when those leaves fall, it might make it even easier to search for him, imo.

Quite surprised that Andrew has not yet been found, where else could he be?

A dedicated task force has been investigating the disappearance of Andrew Kinsman and Selim Esen for 60 days.

To date, 150 actions have been followed up on or continue to be investigated and more than two dozen people have been interviewed.

Dating apps, specifically relating to Andrew Kinsman, have been examined and have not assisted in determining who, if anyone, Kinsman met around the time of his disappearance.

To date, the disappearances of Andrew Kinsman and Selim Esen have not been linked together and investigators are continuing to keep an open mind to any possible links to that of Project Houston.

Investigators are urging anyone who saw or had contact with Selim Esen around Sunday, April 16, 2017, and Andrew Kinsman around Monday, June 26, 2017, to contact them. A dedicated Tip Line has been set up at 416-808-2021.

[h=2]'Someone must know something'[/h] Det.-Sgt. Michael Richmond said Wednesday police are also extending the eight-officer task force that's looking into the two men's disappearances for another 60 days.

Kinsman's sister, Patricia Kinsman, said police updated the family late last week on their efforts. She also recently conducted another search of Riverdale Park, which is walking distance from her brother's home, but that didn't produce any new information.

"It's a little disheartening that we can't find him, but we are grateful for police and the task force," Kinsman told CBC Toronto.

It's difficult for the family to deal with the mystery every day, she said.

"Someone must know something and we are hoping they will come forward.

Andrew Kinsman was last seen at Winchester and Parliament Streets in downtown Toronto on June 26, 2017.

Unrelated to Andrew's case, afaik, but the alleged incident occurred in ' The Village " and caught my attention due to the victim's age (51 ) and the beard...

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with an Assault Causing Bodily Harm investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at approximately 4 p.m., a 51-year-old man and another man got into a verbal dispute inside a restaurant in the Church Street and Wellesley Street East area

- once outside of the restaurant, the 51-year-old man was assaulted by the man

- the 51-year-old man sustained serious injuries to his face

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man.

He is described as 28-30, 5'9", with short brown hair, a beard, and was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark blue jeans, and dark shoes.

Patricia Kinsman has searched Toronto's ravine system every two weeks for the past three months looking for clues to her youngest brother's missing body.

"It's not hard to go out and search. But it's difficult to come back knowing that you found nothing," she said.

Searches often take place on a weekly basis, and with fall bringing increased visibility in forested areas, they are now being scheduled daily. The police task force, meanwhile, is combing through phone data, searching apartments and interviewing members of the community to locate Mr. Kinsman and Mr. Esen.

Dating apps are proving to be a key aspect of the police investigation. However, getting access to information from those apps, which requires judicial applications, can be time-consuming – one of the reasons why the investigation could be prolonged for some time.

Police, family and friends all say the Kinsman and Esin cases are so striking because it is so unlike the men to go anywhere without notifying friends or family.

Ms. Kinsman called her brother a "creature of habit" who had deep roots in his community and was a well-known figure. And there was too much left behind in his apartment – prescription medication, even his cat – for her to imagine that he just ran off somewhere.

Mr. Downer is one of many in the community who believe the cases may be linked. He says all the missing men have a similar look about them and notes that one community member pointed out that all of them went missing during holidays and celebrations.

He also says it's possible their bodies aren't in Toronto at all. If they were kidnapped, he says, it's just as likely that they were driven away and could be anywhere.

TORONTO - Police in Ontario are on track to being given more tools when searching for missing people, such as the ability to track cellphones and enter homes in connection with the cases.

Those are steps they are currently limited in taking unless there is evidence a crime has been committed.
The new Missing Persons Act is part of sweeping changes to policing laws that Ontario introduced today
