I must say the disappearance of so many active and loud "voices" for AJ and the silence of friends and family (aside from her birthday softball game w/ news coverage) is really perplexing. It wouldn't be so odd to me if it had not all happened around the same time. Like someone conveyed a message or a request for silence? LE perhaps?

I still don't understand how the tone changes from a "monster" did this to "it could have been anybody" in a just a month or so. Is this just the difference between a gut wrenching response to the COD and presumptions about AJ's character that caused VS. a calm, somber, reflective tone in a media interview on AJ's birthday. Or is there more to it than that?

Ugghhh...

While LE has not named a person of interest, they have not indicated there is no person of interest either and they haven't asked for any help from the public that's for sure. I'll just keep hoping the evening news will pleasantly surprise me with an announcement on her case. Maybe they are waiting for what may come out in WH's trial on the current charges.

NEW INFO: Wesley Hadsell facing new federal charge of possessing ammunition after a felony. @WAVY_News

The U.S. District Court of Eastern Virginia filed the criminal complaint against Hadsell yesterday (Wednesday 8/26) @WAVY_News

Hadsell's charge stems from search of his room at Americas Best Value on March 20. He lived there for about a month, docs show. @WAVY_News

.@NorfolkPD found approx. 80 rounds of 9mm ammo. Police also say Hadsell visited gun range with stepdaughter AJ in Dec. 2013. @WAVY_News

Honestly it's just a feeling, <modsnip>. Some of that is MSM info <modsnip> Again, this all goes back to arrogant people who like to hear themselves talk, or see their words in print, so to speak. It's happened in SO many cases I've followed and this one isn't any different on that aspect.

I may have interpreted wrong but, I took almost a month as related to his arrest date and the week before as related to the date of AJ's disappearance. So, really both are referring to the same time period. Did you interpret that way as well or am I off base?

I simply posted the two links along with one quote from each link.
The point of the post was to show the correlation of the two time periods mentioned, as it has been discussed at great lengths in earlier threads by many of us posters wondering just how long WH really had been out of the home and at the motel.

Also, I don't recall, but was it ever revealed if they tested AJs hair to determine if she had used heroin previously?
 
Nothing was revealed as far as hair tests, but it seems like they would have done that or anything that has come along since, Imo. Especailly with no obvious cause of death initially.
 
There was a strong showing of support at Sewells Golf Course as family and friends of Anjelica Hadsell worked to raise money for a scholarship in her honor.

“There’s a lot of negativity surrounding the situation, and she was not a negative person in any stretch of the imagination,” said Mrs. Hadsell, who has worked since her daughter’s death to keep her giving spirit alive. “I’d like to think she’s looking down and she’s proud that we’ve done this in her honor and to be able to help somebody.”

Mrs. Hadsell has set a $2,000 goal for the scholarship. She is in the beginning stages of planning other events toi raise money for the annual award.
