WH was in jail when AJ body was found April 9th, had been since iirc March 21? So possible not knowing, depending where his job site was.

There is or was a member here that was on a search that was told, would have to go back and look. Maybe they are still posting or lurking.

I think this may be why the family don't say much in fear of leaking to much and having a miss trail. God is good and it may take some time but the truth will come out. RIP AJ...

Hi vickey! Welcome to Websleuths!

The information we currently have regarding the abandoned house is that there is no relation to the Hadsell family. One of the news stations - maybe WAVY? - interviewed the owners and it was determined that there is no connection. There may be other connections to the house but the Stokes name doesn't seem to be one of them. For once WH may be correct and the name is just coincidence.

As for the threats... this is just my own opinion but there is some evidence - and it's purely rumor - that at least one of the people involved didn't feel as threatened as msm represented. At least not with regard to the Aryan Brotherhood. Hopefully that will be clarified in the future.

I agree with you that the truth will come out in the end. I think LE is way ahead of us in this case.

ITA we haven't heard that her phone has been recovered. Please, someone chime in if I am wrong. However, based on the image I posted upthread, IF AJ's cell phone carrier is the one that retains the actual text message content, and IF LE was savvy enough to put in the a timely request (and I hope to God they did), then the content will be available to investigators.

I remember the detailed text message exchanges we were able to access in the T. Alexander case. It was pretty incredible to read his exchanges with ja (IMO). Granted, both phones were recovered, and this case is not identical.

I can't help but hold onto that glimmer of hope that this data is out there somewhere. Perhaps it was synced in an iPhone backup, forgotten initially, only to be recovered by the opposite end user. You'd be amazed what forensic IT specialists can recover. I just have faith, that after this long and winding road, something will happen to shine the light of justice into the dark recesses of evil (if it hasn't already) . :please:

If I'm not mistaken, Wes was arrested about the time it takes for such warrants to come through for LE. About a month, in this case a little less, but more information must have come in, focused on texts and such, otherwise I doubt he would have been trying to blow smoke in that direction. Things that I don't believe:

Wes is estranged from any part of his family,

AJ willingly acutely poisoned herself with heroin,

or that

she ever left that house alive or conscience.
 
Some have commented about info just "now" coming out, but it's quite realistic to assume there's a LOT of info LE already knows (either through investigative efforts or through interviews with the family) that we're just now hearing about. In other words, just because we (the public or the media) hasn't been made aware of certain things yet, doesn't mean LE doesn't already know all about it.

Imagine for a moment...

You find out your spouse is doing drugs, so you kick them to the curb. Because, you're all about keeping drugs as far away as possible. Then, a few weeks later one of your kids go missing while home for spring break...and the last contact with them was a round of bizarre text messages from their number that allude to them using heroin.

Do you:

a.) completely freak out
b.) file a missing persons report
c.) tell the media you think your kid is safe
d.) completely freak out

Maybe it's just me, but if MY kid went missing and those were the messages I received the LAST thing I'd tell the media is that she's "safe". I would have told the media EXACTLY what those messages said, right after I told the police what they said (and handed them my phone and insisted they read them all for themselves, and then gave them her ISP info, etc. so that they could track her with their professional IT people that do this for a living), ESPECIALLY if I didn't believe they were from her.

But hey... that's just me. :gaah:

I agree, that's what has been told. Cant sleuth others as against TOS. I do remember ZH making a post about the house, saying it was someones dream house. The post was written as if it was common knowledge to some. Which after the way Wendy reacted, makes me tend to believe it could be. Do not know why either had the reaction they did. I know Zach also said that if he found out she was alive in that house, that he would loose his mind. ZH comments were on last thread before going to the forum style threads.

Small world- my son knows him as an acquaintance as well. This is getting mighty bizarre. Minors aside- there has to be a bigger reason he mentioned what he did, imo.
 
The only reason I can come up with for JH to say publicly that she believes AJ is safe would be to reassure AJ and whoever she thinks AJ is with so that they don't run. If the heroin messages did come to her and if she did give everything to the police, it's possible she didn't want to reveal what was really going on behind the scenes and spook AJ. If that's the case, I can accept that in saying she thought AJ was safe she was doing what she had to do rather than following her instinct to freak out. But, given her public displays of anger and apparent lack of impulse control on other occasions, I may be bending over backward to give her the benefit of the doubt in theory. JMO

But that was refuted in the hearing for Wes's charges. It was testified to that it did have AJ's name on it. So it could not have been the girlfriends jacket.

So he doesn't actually say how the texts were worded. Like you, I can't imagine how such texts would have been worded. And if even one sentence of what WH said is true then how could JH believe AJ was "safe" in any way, shape or form? :confused:

That sounds like someone else with a heroine problem that AJ had lately met. She needed the 200.00 to leave with this person in the white car. AJ was walking into a trap so this person text for more money. Whatever JH texted back to whoever could have had AJ for a few weeks after the texts. No one saw AJ after March 2nd. and her SM stopped but the van siting was around March 26th.

According to our thoughts before. So maybe this is why JH said AJ was safe?

The neighbor who says he saw the dark colored van says it was "about" 2 weeks prior to when AJ was discovered there. That puts us back to around the 26th of March. WH had already been in jail for a week at that time.

So if the timeline is fairly accurate, it wasn't WH driving that dark colored van.

Maybe she was kidnapped and all eyes are on WH because he did it before.

Who saw the white car? wavey guy? Oh I don't want to think about this anymore.

I have an address I need to look up is there any way to do that in Va. I am in western NC and would like to see the name of this person.

If they got the phone records quickly then they would have been able to read the contents of the recent texts. Some cell providers keep them for a few days, other for a few weeks.

He had access to phone and made many calls to supporters. He could have asked any one of them where the remains were found in relation to his work site. And I have a good idea that he did do so and is lying when he says he has 'no idea' about it. JMO
