Several things I read mentioned a couple male ex's in her life (who had only positive things to say about her personality).

I just don't understand why they would have included that in the news article unless they thought it might have something to do with her death. Of course, some of the news articles I've read lately aren't written much better than I write.

What news article? This link is not from any news article! The author is a poster at another blog- click- There is nothing to substantiate the poster's statement. OK- My last post about this topic now....

Thanks for clarifying where it came from. That blog was the only reference I found to it after looking myself. I thought maybe it was cited from an article or report. But seeminly it just appears on that blog list with some other points of varying accuracy.

to be discussing Anne's sexual orientation, and genitalia......pushing the limits of respectability......

some facts are interesting to know for the case, but this constant "why wasn't she dating more" and her "ambiguity" are silly and a waste of time....

my youngest bro never dated, or rarely......after the service he met ONE girl, who also had never dated, and they were married and are still married with children.....people don't have to date constantly to prove their sexuality.....

I haven't dated for almost 35 yrs, and believe me, my sexuality is a known quantity....just ask my husband.....lol

I agree. She was young and very career oriented (from what I've read) so there probably wasn't a whole lot of time for dating.

It is not uncommon for really beautiful women especially in the public eye to have trouble in the dating arena. Many men find them "unapproachable" due to their own perceptions or self-esteem issues. While you would think these women would have no shortage of males asking them out, it isn't true in many cases.

There are many reasons she may not have been dating anyone at the time.

Her social life is such that I don't put much into it as being related to this brutal crime...other than it could be someone who wanted what they perceived could not happen willingly so they took it from her.
 
I heard today that there is a suspect and LE are trying to track him down. Apparently he had some kind of email contact with Anne - saying something like "I'm coming to town soon, etc."

If that's true, then he doesn't live in LR. Maybe he lives in another city in Arkansas... I don't know. I really think that they aren't saying much because they don't want to spook him, like we've said before.

I also heard from this same person that some of the stab wounds reported were from the claw end of a hammer - also as we've heard before. This lady did say she'd been told about the cuts on her privates as well. Ugh, this guy needs to be off the street.

Here's hoping LE is CLOSE to tracking him down!
 
I hope so. I would hate for the person that did this to be free another year, month or even a week. It took an extreme type of evil to do what this person did.
 
I have hoped the aparent lack of open acivity in the case (not a lot of public releases, only general calls for tips and info, etc) have meant that LE had some sort of lead and was working in a particular direction. No news can be good news if that is the case (or bad news if LE is fishing around in the dark).

i do think they know more than has been let on, and hopefully they are drawing the net in on this .
 
Either way (related or not) they wont be doing any more home invasions any time soon...

I wonder if the home they were breaking into is close to Anne's?
Also, did you notice that the artice said the homeowner was leaving his house and was leaving w/ a police escort? (I read 2 articles, and linked one. I may have linked the one that did not mention that???) Anyway, I am wondering if the homeowner had to leave because LE had to continue to process the crime scene or if the homeowner had to leave because of the potential of violence to himself and family? Just wondering..........

This break in that resulted in one perp being shot and killed and the other on the run is not located near where Anne lived. The police seem to be fine with the shooting according to local news reports.

Great news, findthem! thanks for keeping us informed. I'm sure the investigators have traced the email. Hope they get him tonite!
 
Breaking News as of 9:05 tonight: Suspect to Be Named in Anne Pressly Case
A major development tonight in the Anne Pressly murder investigation. Little Police have called a 10pm press conference and spokesman Terry Hastings says police are expected to name a suspect in the case.
