Beverly's family must be on pins and needles right now, to say the least. :(

I hope that they never got wind of the arrest happening thing that went out for a bit there right before we switched threads.

As bad as it all is, it's got to be even worse for them that it already is if they then got their hopes up he was caught so they might get answers, only to have them dashed quickly finding out the arrest didn't really happen.

Here's how the scenario plays out: For the first 5 years of his life, this family member is the apple of every family member's eye, extended family included, and is spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. Then the parents have two more children and he is now completely ignored and abused. I have watched him struggle his whole life with the two extremes to this day. I don't believe every narcissist is insecure but it does and can happen.

I don't think he was a POI before the crash, but was immediately after. Evidence in his car? But he was a POI while en route to the hospital, but without a warrant they were limited in how involved they could be while he was receiving care. By the time the warrant was signed, he was able to leave the hospital. This is my understanding at least.
So confusing because on our other thread there's a linked article that says he was a poi before the accident.

From what I understand, a narcissist is a person whose insecurities have gown so big that they recreate an entirely new persona to hide them. I think any moment of admitting or acting insecure is a crack in that persona.

Did police take that photo with suspect's own phone and found it uploaded to Beverly's icloud account, and therefore was her phone - or have I got confused?

WHO are you referring to? tia

No one knows what happened. A most confusing case.

You know, looking at the accident report...

Arron's assertion that there was an "unknown vehicle" that "ran him off the road" reminds me a little of the whole invasion thing that he reported last October. You know, the one which he said a gun was pulled on him, yet a search of the suspects (who I suspect he didn't think LE would catch before they really got anywhere) and the vehicle and all surrounding areas between the home and where they were pulled over very nearby didn't turn up a gun. And the only weapon that actually came out was a knife that he (Arron) pulled when he said they were going to jump him.

Like a bit of an embellish things to try to get out of trouble syndrome maybe?

Now we have a vehicle that tried to run him off the road - that he can't provide any details whatsoever on, nor did the witnesses see - being what he's blaming his driving (and crash) on today.

If he disappeared while waiting for a CAT scan he likely had on a hospital scrub instead of normal clothing. So unless he first returned to his room to grab his clothes then that would be what he is wearing.

I think this is important for those searching for him as he likely doesn't have "street clothes" on or didn't when he disappeared.

no way he left in a hospital gown he grabbed his clothes imo.

Ok, I feel so much better now!:happydance:

But on a sad note...Where is Beverly? Could possibly this guy have had injuries from her fighting back and he decided to wreck his car to have an reason for them?

The one thing I'm not sure if you saw was this that I may have missed someone else also mentioning (so sorry, if so - my brain keeps puzzling over some of what this joker is saying and doing ) is that it later seems to indicate that he was a POI even prior to the crash.

Pulaski county says Lewis was a person of interest before he was involved in a Sunday afternoon car accident. Following the accident, Deputies took a picture of Lewis' facial injuries. Because of his injuries, he was taken to Baptist Health in Little Rock before the arrest warrant was issued by a Judge

Not that that tells us anything much though. LOL.

I'd be shocked if he crashed intentionally to cover up injuries. Like someone else said, I don't think he wants LE paying any more attention to him than they likely already do due to all his past shenanigans!

And with him apparently being a POI prior to the crash, I wouldn't be shocked if we hear he had seen LE tailing him - or thought one of the witnesses was actually LE tailing him undercover - and was trying to shake what he may have thought was LE off (or possibly could have been them but just outside of the view the witness had.

A little reminiscent of HG's case, maybe, except JM managed not to crash! Well, and now, we've also got AL seeming to have taken off following the car incident, just like JM did, and now he also has earned himself an arrest warrant for abduction!

Aaron Lewis, 33, was spotted by police in a car crash on Sunday

They took him to hospital but he fled while they waited outside ward

Lewis, who remains at large, was named as a 'person of interest' after being involved in a car accident and taken to hospital by police - before fleeing while officers thought he was having a CT scan.

It looked as though that accident has broken his nose and pushed it up and into his skull. I'd have thought that's going to cause him all sorts of problems if he doesn't get it treated.

Imo if the kidnapping was for ransom, money would have been requested by now.

Yep, this is why he was having a scan. This guy could be in big trouble soon, medical wise.

'Three cases of brain injury due to windshield impact (tempered windshield) were reported. In the case of brain injury, multitude of small cracks injured the frontal lobe through the orbital roof with facial injuries due to windshield impact. Though we are apt to misdiagnose because of very small wounds, the diagnosis can be made easily from the plain film. The craniotomy, with complete removal of glass fragments and dural plasty, must be performed for the purpose of preventing infection and cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea. We believe that the use of seat belt and H.P.R. type laminated windshield is the best precaution against the windshield impact.'

Now the article that said he was a POI prior has added more information:

They're now saying apparently he was a POI prior. Wish we knew if that was the station's interpretation of something spilling out based on something or if they just flat out made the assumption...

Saying the warrant was issued "later in the day..." almost makes me think that they knew he walked out but still didn't have the warrant to arrest him at that point :dunno:

The "later in the day" and the "feeling frustrated he left" along with the "obviously it's not something we can control" is reading like they just flat out didn't have enough to detain him when he left.

"Frustrated" seems more downplayed than you'd think if a guy wanted for kidnapping that they have said should be considered dangerous just slipped right out from under their noses.

Although you'd hope they'd have tailed him if that were the case.

I'm assuming the "testing" he left in the middle of was the CT that had been referenced in some of the earliest stuff.

Lewis was apparently a person of interest before he had reached Baptist Hospital for treatment. Minden clarified that he was "not under the guard of law enforcement at that time due to not having any criminal charges." He said Lewis left the left the hospital in the middle of testing; a warrant was obtained later in the day.

"They feel frustrated he left. Obviously it's not something we can control. If someone is not under arrest, and we go into a hospital, we're just not allowed to go back there," explained Minden. "But, yeah, it is frustrating to know that you knew where he was, and you just didn't have an arrest warrant for him at that time."

Lewis' vehicle went out of control and struck a culvert near Ison Road.

According to deputies, Lewis claimed someone ran him off the road.

A witness claims Lewis was traveling at a high rate of speed and went out of control in a curve, striking the concrete culvert.

Lewis was injured when he struck the windshield in the crash.

MEMS responded and transported Aaron Lewis to a Little Rock hospital.

It was there that he allegedly walked out while being evaluated for head and neck injuries.
