The reporter said the dogs from Memphis tracked his scent east, then west and then down to Spring Street but then stopped; they think because that location is where Malik has played so they think the scent could be old.

How did he get out the front door??

If he truly did walk out the front door They should be tracking the newest scent. The park location is close to the home.

Malik is autistic and presumed to have wandered out of his house while his mother was taking a bath at 5:45 last night.

Feeling sick for this family. Hits very close to home. I lived in/near Searcy for about 10 years, my husbands family still lives in a small town near there, so we visit Searcy a couple times a year.

Pleasure street is a fairly busy street, Beebe-Capps Expresway/hwy 36 is very busy.

I think the college kids are gone for Thanksgiving break- they could have added a lot more searchers.

The area where he lives and the house he was said to walk out of seems surrounded by businesses, I hope they're checking and security camera footage those places may have to check for Malik or cars that may have been in the area at the time. Kids tend to go toward well lit places.

When my son was 2ish, he broke the plastic doorknob cover, unlocked the kitchen door that led to a mud porch, then unlocked both the glass door and the other door in the time it took me to use the restroom (5 minutes maybe). Luckily he was heading straight to the swing set in the backyard. He had been playing with ABC refrigerator magnets while I was cleaning the kitchen.
