AND in NAMUS it says our DOE had a Crown or Cap on tooth#9, that is the same tooth (top center left tooth) that was chipped for Emily.

Should I submit Emma Vaughn ( http://doenetwork.org/cases/689dffl.html ) as a possible match through Namus?

I think so or thru the eldorado LE maybe?

This missing girl's profile and teeth don't look too much like the Arkansas doe to me... her teeth look horrible in that one photo, and the other black and white they dont even look like the same teeth...

I agree besides I met her in 88 or 89 she was with her murderer for quite some time at least 4 or 5 years, this girl is too young and was not missing untill 1990 its not her.

I tried to post the picture side by side a few different ways... I can not get the pictures to show up, not sure how to do that...

Yes, but her height may have already been off when reported missing (a few inches short possibly) maybe she was more like 5'5 or 5'6 when she went missing and then she grew a few inches in her teens?

You're right -- Emma was just barely a teenager and could easily have grown that much. The resemblance is strong. I misread her age as 18 (eyes getting old ) and thought she wasn't likely to have grown that much.

I actually submitted Emma quite some time ago. Last I heard, her family was going to submit DNA. I don't know if that ever happened. Lost my correspondence when my computer crashed!

The only thing that really does not make sense, if it were Emma, you would think they would recognize the pics of our Doe, if she really did go visit her mother and sister shortly before she died.

If she had visited them, she wouldn't still be listed as a teenage missing person. But I see no strong evidence the story is true. It could be, but it might not be.

exactly, so I started looking at missing reports after 1991, because surely by now her Mom and Sister would be looking by now if it were true , unless the visit did not go well..........

ok KDSMITH21 emma is NOT a rule out, she is very short at 14, Im right back on Terri from texas, they look so similar to me, and she has not been ruled out either, can anyone submit her?

in 1991 there is no way she was 20 I met her in 88 and she was not 20 then! and Im not sure if she was ruled out or not I will look tomorrow as I am running out the door!

She sure looks like her, but her stats don't line up very well. She'd be quite a bit older than the estimates, for one thing. But a discrepancy like that could well be why she hasn't been identified.
