I am sorry to hear that.....I do not understand why they wouldn't even acknowledge your submission. With so many UID's one would think they would welcome some outside help.

On a different case, I have a detective that sometimes has long gaps in his replies. He looks into stuff and then sometimes gets back to me like two months later. So......I don't know when you submitted this but don't let the lack of a response discourage your future efforts.

I came across a story in the British Daily Mail today, about an Irish artist who has crated an exhibition "Project Blink" consisting of paintings she has done of unidentified Jane Doe's from throughout the U.S. The exhibition (being held in Ireland) was created in order to build a legacy for the women, while bringing attention to gender-based violence. The paintings are captioned with the circumstances including dates, locations, etc. In my opinion, they are much more dignified than morgue photographs, and her website is quite thorough.

Hi - This is my first post so forgive me if I have posted incorrectly.
I've been very touched by this case. I found the following girl missing at age 15 since January 1, 1980 from Venice, Los Angeles, California. Her name is Kimberly Ann Kahler. She would have been 26 in 1991. I don't know how to post a link to side by side photos, but if you check JD morgue pictures and compare it to the center picture on the doenetwork, I think there is a remarkable likeness. Her DNA is in CODIS - does that mean it has already been checked against Jane Doe's DNA in CODIS?

Awesome, can't wait. It should take a few months, right? I don't see a strong resemblance between the two but of course in a way I hope there is a match so there is closure for this women's family who has been gone over twenty years. I thought the girl who was a lot shorter looked like her, but usually women stop growing before boys if they hit puberty at an early age. I stopped growing when I was only 12. I am 5'7. Same with all of my friends. Anyway, too bad I'm in Canada so I can't be of much help but will continue looking for matches if these don't work out

LA , Danaya submitted her long ago but I have always thought very close match, but you know I really think she was ruled out, although not on the ruleout list , I hope she hears soon!!!!

I just emailed Namus ,hopefully they will be compared, I did a side by side with Jane does post mortem and Kimberly, its pretty uncanny, along with ole JRM saying she had seen her mom and sister in CA around 199o it sorta fits. maybe. ugh.

Michael Nance answered me that they both have DNA and its a rule out all I can say is since the BF said she had communication off and on with her mother and sister IF she was reported missing, and I don't think she was, it would have been after 91 , after her death.

Has this woman been suggested before? She looks like the unidentified and she lived a similar lifestyle it appears and went by different aliases. She would have been 33 in 1991 though. She is listed as 5'9, which is close enough to 5'11.
