De Telegraaf said that tourists spotted the bone in the sand on Riba Beach which
flanks the Divi Aruba Phoenix Resort - new map attached. Note the wing dams. If this
is the find location then this is not an ordinary beach front facing the ocean but a literal
catch basin created by the construction of two wing dams. The very purpose of those wing dams is to catch sand a create more beach head. Compare the beach front between these wings to any beach front elsewhere ...

How this connects to the bone found in this location, I do not know. But the special nature
of this location compared to all other beach front in the area must be noted.

I was looking at this picture on google earth earlier today ... that does not look like the area that enters the Bubali Sanctuary, so the bone must have been washed ashore. If that's the case, it could have come from anywhere. Have there been any plane crashes in the vast trade wind area in the last year or two?

It's lucky that there was one tooth left in the bone after tossing and rolling around on the ocean floor for who knows how long ... finally tossed onto a beach on a small island in the middle of the ocean.

While Aruba does damage control over fears that their tourism industry may suffer, reports have surfaced that Natalee Holloway is not the only young American girl to disappear there.
From The Hawaii Channel:
Another family said they know exactly what the parents of Natalee Holloway, the Alabama teenager who has been missing in Aruba since last week, are going through. They've been dealing with the same nightmare for seven years.

The Bradleys, of Virginia, went on a cruise in 1998 and Aruba was one of the stops. That's where their daughter disappeared.

Iva Bradley said her 23-year-old daughter, Amy, befriended three men who worked on the cruise ship and they wanted to take her to a bar in Aruba.

"They said they wanted to take her to a bar on Aruba that was called Carlos and Charlie's," said Bradley. "She made a face and said 'I wouldn't get off the ship with any of those guys anyway. That's creepy.'"

Amy Bradley was last seen in her cabin at 5:15 a.m. By 6 a.m., she was nowhere to be found....

Amy Bradley disappeared on a cruise ship in Curacao. Sitings left questions about whether she got off the boat or not ... in Curacao.

Our luck results will come back while we are all celebratingThanksgiving in USA.
Susihawk was right.

Did you watch the video of Terror Jaap and Joran? That is where you will find four experts analyzing Joran's claims. The video is from March, and I don't have a link, but it is available on youtube.

I meant police officials not people watching the video, anyone watching the video was just giving an opinion just like experts now giving opinions on the jawbone. My point was that no police official said that the timeline didn't fit so they were dismissing it all.

Peter Blanken said at the time that what they were able to investigate appeared not to be true, i.e. the person Joran blamed for helping him dispose of Natalee and the house he said they were at. However Peter said that due to the size of Bubali they were not able to search without having more specific details.

Peter said that they wanted to investigate further but needed more specific information as to the exact spot. He even said that if Joran wanted to clear his conscience he hoped he would call in and give them the exact location.

Dompig said that it is possible Natalee was disposed of in the pond and if they could find Joran's shoe in there it would be great evidence. Dompig said they had never been able to search there due to it's protected status.

It's true that they weren't able to search Bubali but it's wasn't because they didn't give Joran's story any credibility due to timeline issues.

I wonder if the family already knows, I hope they tell them privately before announcing it to the media and public.

Dr Baden said that investigators knew immediately whether or not it was Natalee from her dental records.

The results of the forensic analysis on a jawbone found earlier this month in Aruba will be announced on Tuesday, potentially providing the first piece of concrete evidence in the death of missing American teenager Natalee Holloway.
Ann Angela, a spokeswoman for the Aruba Prosecutor's Office, told Fox News she did not have results of the analysis. Aruba Solicitor General Taco Stein will make a statement following the announcement.

Maybe the latest delay is because they're notifying her family first? I think I read that Dave decided not to postpone his hunting trip so maybe they were waiting for his return in order to notify him. Just guessing here.

I still think they've been dragging their feet with the announcement in order to hopefully minimize the impact. As if...

I would imagine the family will know first. Maybe today...

I'm thinking that it is her...i'm thinking if it wasn't her - it would have been made known immediatly.

I'm wondering why the delay on releasing the info. Maybe they are wondering how to go about it. They know that if it is her, and they release that info - there will be a LOT of media on this.......and more negativity towards their island - something they DON'T want.

Maybe Beth's last interview with Joran, touched someones heart.
IMO

I agree. Someone knew where Natalee was buried and wanted to give her closure. I sure don't think it was Anita. Someone helped Joran that night other than his father.

That's curious that Taco Stein will make a statement after the announcement. I can't recall that ever happening when there was other possible evidence found that turned out to be not related.

The fact that they are announcing when they will make a statement instead of just brushing it off as an animal gives me hope that this is Natalee. Then again, with Aruba's past actions, I expect them to say the bone is hundreds of years old or washed up from another island.
