Perhaps. Or she thought she could con a con? Or she's just one of those people who seems to like to immerse herself in drama, therefore, risky behavior gives her short term emotional benefits/highs.

I can't marry myself to one single victimology as of yet. Cause I've known/worked with women who were/are as you described above. But more often, those women weren't 'babes in the woods' and went in with their eyes open. I think that might be more likely with Robyn, she knew he was 'risky', but she thought she could 'handle him'.

And I've known a couple of women who thrived on/sought out 'drama' .... repeatedly. They're like magnets. I'm not speaking of seeking out your own death, but more ... seemingly purposefully choosing the riskiest choice as the benefits offer the highest instant payout ... and the thrill is the highest.

There's also a chance that Robyn didn't tell ANYONE the complete truth about her motivations for doing anything and they could interview everyone she knows and never agree on 'the Robyn I knew'...

All that said, no matter what her ideals, plans, motivations, etc, she didn't deserve what she (presumably) got.

Okay everybody, can we please just chill a little bit? Before we all get in big trouble and the thread is pulled altogether? :grouphug:

I think that we can all agree that GG is guilty of premeditated murder, and we pray that there will be justice for Robyn. We can also agree, IMO, that there has been an incredible amount of unverified info coming out about this case, and many of us have drawn our own conclusions from that. I feel that it is futile to beat each other up for drawing those conclusions. JMO.

I'm not telling anyone how to post, but I know that we can be respectful of each other! :blowkiss:

Sorry the info about the bruising, witness statements, towels and dress are only mentioned in the video. Maybe at some future date it will be discussed in print. Not sure if it will make it to youtube or not, can you view video there?

I had actually wondered this same thing myself earlier in this thread. It might explain why he was (allegedly) so furious with her cancelling.

And I thought I read somewhere (or saw RF in an interview recently--Nancy Grace?--it's all a blur) saying he had thought she had already left for her cruise but showed up at his house and said she'd changed her mind at the last minute. If I heard that correctly, and that's the trip he was talking about, then one would have to think GG would already have had the insurance squared away prior to then.

But I could have, theoretically, hallucinated that interview and this information... :crazy:

She was last seen at approx. 4:10 pm in pictures leaving the resturant near where she supposedly went swimming. I beleive she was reported missing about 6pm-ish from the back of the same resturant. Virtually nothing in between.

Putting on my flack jacket waiting to be corrected from memory cells having donut holes.

Stacey, the legal process in Aruba versus the U.S. is different. Can you tell us how different they are?

STACEY HONOWITZ, FLORIDA PROSECUTOR: Well, here you can hold them if there`s reasonable suspicion to think that they were involved in the murder. You can take them in and hold them.

And if you remember the Joran van der Sloot case, Dr. Drew, they were taken in custody, then they were released. Then the Kalpoe brothers were put in custody and released. And it was a back-and-forth type of situation.

In the United States, they are charged, they`re held, they`re given a bond. If they can`t make bond, they stay in custody. That`s the difference.

Here, what Marty Savidge was saying is 100 percent right. The prosecutors had to go in, and there had to be some form of better evidence than the last time they went in, in order for the judge to hold them. And now the judge is saying, I think I`ve seen enough now to hold another 60 days, but you`d better come up with something more in order for us to charge him and to try him.

Now, there`s a lot of evidence and circumstantial that we have been hearing that anybody hearing this would say, listen, it`s got to be him. Here`s a guy that takes her down to Aruba. He`s got a history, he`s got a violent background.

Two days after she goes missing, in a presumed snorkeling accident, he tries to cash in the insurance policy without searching, without trying to find her. And so all of this points to him being the prime suspect.

Is it enough, though, without a body? And that`s what we`re waiting to see.

Now, there`s other witnesses that have come forward and said, we saw them arguing on the beach. I think a witness came forward later on that said -- there was something to the effect of he said, "I`m going to kill her."

So this might have been some of the evidence that was presented today in order for this judge to keep him another 60 days.

PINSKY: Stacey, are we going -- you`re saying maybe. Is there some point where the public is going to get access to what`s going on in the courtroom, or is that going to be only after this is all done?

HONOWITZ: I think it`s probably it`s going to be after it`s all done, and the reason why is because I think they realize what went on in the Natalee Holloway case. We dissected it every single night on the air, little bits and pieces were coming out, evidence was spoken about that really wasn`t there.

And so I think they`re going to keep everything very close to the vest and they`re going to wait until an actual charge is brought down, or if he`s released, he`s released. I mean, right now, we are just hearing bits and pieces. And like I said, the public is just wondering, why isn`t he being charged?

Well, right now, there just isn`t enough. There`s a lot of circumstances that lead us to believe he is the prime suspect. But of what?

And until maybe a body is found, or there`s something concrete, we`re just going to have to wait and see. Right now it is being kept very secretive, and I think they are doing that on purpose.

I don`t think they want it to be another situation like it was with Holloway. If you remember, Dr. Drew, they were boycotting traveling to Aruba because of what was going on. They don`t want another situation like that.

Here is what I have:

early to mid 2010 - Robyn meets GG during this period - CJ


Feb 2010 - Protection order gotten against Gary by a woman named V.P. She was getting harrassed by GG including pornographic pictures being put in neighbor's mailboxes and sex videos of them posted online.


Feb 2010 - Robyn is pursuing a spot on a reality television program.


April 2010 - Police report by a DIFFERENT woman is requesting protection order. The form shows she had been choked and slapped, per her. Protection order gotten.

April 2010 - V.P. files police report of sexual assault. A search warrant is gotten and the residence of G.G. is searched. Criminal charges never brought. Video was obtained.

June 2010 - Robyn does a photo shoot. Seen in bathing suit with other model.

Jan 2011 - Per RF this is when he and RG became "exclusive"

circa May 2011 A cruise had been planned. Robyn cancelled and GG got very angry. Sent mean texts. - CJ


June 2010 - Police called on a fight between RF and RG.

July 2011 - Robyn sends GG a text "Get me out of here." Per a report.

Sunday July 31st - On this day another tourist had talked to RG and said that it looked like RG and GG were NOT having a good time. - CJ

Monday Aug 1st - GG and RG bought bottle of vodka this day, per reports.

Tuesday Aug 2nd - 2 a.m. Facebook comment left on RF's wall by Robyn: "This sucks."

3 p.m. - Robyn sends RF a Facebook message not to worry, that she loves him and that they will talk and sort things out when she gets back.

4 p.m. - Robyn is last seen. A man who works near Baby Beach reported seeing their vehicle park up by the rocks close to the water, wondered why they chose there to go snorkeling. A fisherman comes forward and says that GG and RG never went into the water.

6:02 p.m.Giordano reportedly is seen in surveillance video, tapping on closed shutters of the bar

6:20 p.m. GG reportedly headed to the back kitchen of the bar and told someone to call police.

Everything she ever posted with regard to Robyn Gardner (on her FB page) mentioned herself in it. What was it she referred to the people drooling over her on her FB page as ??? I think it was littles doves. My backside! It's more like send me an email and pay with pay pal and I'll give you some insight into your life.

Self serving person who was hoping to make a buck off this terrible situation.

Yes, and since asked to cease working on this case by RF she and her Doves have been bashing RF and RG relentlessly (her focus is on RF).

There is a fairly new poster to the Help Find RG FB page who is attacking another poster. Interesting that CB names this poster (the one being attacked) on her FB page as being someone who has posted negatively about CB. hmmmm.. connection??? It's all gone down in the last 24 hours.
