LOL, since a deer is such a beautiful creature, there is no doubt that GG will be a truly Halloweenish, Nightmarish version of a deer. A very, very, ugly deer, JMO

LOL! I think it was a "jakalope". As stated by a WS member, Elepha, " it is a mythical creature feared for it's violent nature". A combo of a "JAK-rabbit (ears) and an antALOPE, (horns).

Yeah Halloween!.....knowing he already had that get-up was one less thing to worry about while in jail.

Aruba has changed. This was Walters's fifth trip to the island. He says there is new security where he stays, a guard watches the compound at night.

There is an uneasy calm, when approached most merchants smile, and politely say no comment.

One who did speak to Walters says the island was just fully recovering from the Natalee Holloway's disappearance when Gardner went missing. He says it's like Holloway's case never ended, and he just want some closure

I think this is very disturbing that someone would write this as a fact. Aruba is not searching for a killer. They know Joran was responsible for NH death and now they suspect that GG may have caused the death of RG. There is no killer skulking around on the island of Aruba. If RG was killed it was at the hands of GG because he admits to being the last person with her. jmo

I agree, I noticed that and it is rather troubling "Aruba continues its search for a killer". That is bad journalism with a complete misstatement or very poorly worded statement, whatever, but is certainly wrong. Aruba's not searching for anyone as far as I know other than maybe an accomplice? Otherwise, they have him in hand. JMO
 
Heading to court today to petition for release from prison


Lopez will still work on the case, along with Giordano’s U.S. based lawyer Jose Baez, who gained instant notoriety during the Casey Anthony trial, which ended in July with a shocking not guilty verdict.

Baez is not able to argue the case in an Aruban court but has been acting as an adviser and assisting the defense.

An Aruban court has denied American Gary Giordano's request to be released from jail, a spokeswoman for Aruban prosecutors said Monday.

Giordano, who is being held in connection with the disappearance of traveling companion Robyn Gardner, 35, was taken into custody August 5 at the airport in Aruba as he waited for a flight back to the United States. He has been held for 70 days

Fox News is talking about it now..saying that he's back in court "later this afternoon".
 
A judge in Aruba has turned down a U.S man's request to be released from jail as a suspect in the presumed death of his travel companion.

Maryland businessman Gary Giordano appealed an order detaining him for 60 days while authorities investigate the disappearance of 35-year-old Robyn Gardner. His lawyers say there's not enough evidence to hold him.

The judge rejected his request Monday. It was his second failed appeal.

Attorney Michael Lopez says the defense will try again at the end of the month when the 60-day order expires. Prosecutors say they will seek to extend the order.
