If you cant understand why no one has come forward to spill the beans... Put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Reverse the situation and put one of your friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues into BRE's position... Would you be straight on here to tell all to a group of nameless, faceless people on an internet forum without so much as giving the person the 1st right we have under our laws - the presumption of innocence. If the answer is yes - I would be asking you this - Why would you do that??

Yep of course, that's all fair enough. Probably the most sensible course of action, and perhaps I'm being insensitive by imagining that people 'close' to him would want to talk about it.

Does anyone know if BRE had a 'best friend'? I absolutely don't want to know that person's identity, just simply whether or not they existed?

I asked, but appeared not. However my old school friend said that someone called Dominic F worked closely with BRE at Telstra would know more about that, than him.

Agreed. I really don't believe SS was kept long term anywhere. I think the cases similar to Jaycee Dugard kidnapped for 18 years, Josef Fritzl who held his daughter his daughter for 24 years and Natasha Kampusch 8 years before escape are a rarity.

There were a few people that drove down Government Road at night to check out the cemetery entrance around February from memory. I think it was pretty quiet and creepy (even if perceived) at night.

Sorry, I didn't mean that I was surprised no one has come in to 'spill the beans'. But, I am very, very surprised that almost no one has come in, anonymously, to simply share their observations about the accused. I'm not suggesting they have any insight whatsoever into the crimes, but observations about his personality, mannerisms, habits etc.

Why would I do that? To share my insight into a case that is as much in the 'public interest' as probably any case in Australia, ever!

I've seen little bits and pieces online over the months. People claiming they knew BRE through being step daughters friend / associate. No details besides that though! I do find it odd. I know people now (in Australia)who have stories of Ted Bundy and Ed Kemper . These men arent even from this country and yet I know people who came across them or had a relative who did!!
Yet,no one for BRE who has lived here this whole time it seems?
Im thinking they either can't talk,dont believe it fully or he simply did not know that many people! He does not come across to me as exceptionally sociable and outgoing so they just may not have much to say about him.
To be fair, if I had never used WS before,I highly doubt I would come on here,make an account and just tell random strangers I met BRE at the mall once and he seemed normal to me or similar.
Most people I know would never have even heard of this site. Those (perhaps few) who do want to speak about BRE, probably doing so offline with people they actually know.

The British are moving towards the eliminative process where everybody in the nation is a suspect until they can be excluded and the pool keeps shrinking towards a solid suspect. The nominative process says once you have the evidence against the suspect nominee you need not look for anything else, the eliminative process dictates that you must.

Fact: The time between call placed and taxi arrival is correct. The phone she called from was on a main road. Taxi was very close when he received the job.

My own opinion: CSK had already earmarked her as a target and was there and ready to strike/blitz/trick (insert whatever method he used) as she was making the call. Perhaps he followed her down the road or whatever, but IMHO he had already decided she was on his shopping list before/while she was making the call.

How long between SS being reported missing on the Monday, to when Police initially contacted Swan Taxis? Or vice versa?
