I noticed a few of those gumtree Homeswest swap adverts listed for 630 Stirling Highway, which is the big block of flats on the opposite side of Glyde St to the former French restaurant, but it also looks like some of the flats are listed for private sales too, so I was wondering if it was one of them Homeswest blocks that have now been sold off, like brownlie towers in Bentley was?

Anyhow, it appears from media reports already posted that there were some clandestine drug laboratories and dealing going on in Mosman Park, as well as other nefarious activities. The reported epidemic of Western Suburbs recreational drug usage by the affluent social set has to be supplied from somewhere? Whether the affiliations and underground social circles have anything to do with these cold cases, or explain how a suspect came to frequent an area, or lure victims, I don't know.

For what it's worth, I agree with many of these points. By the time CG went missing, there was no way a young woman would get in a car with a stranger, and may even be wary of someone they knew but not very well.

I think one possibility is the car (that was seen by the guy at the HJs bus stop) stopped and the driver tried to persuade her to get in, but she refused and kept walking. She may have even said something jokingly along the lines of 'do you think I'm crazy?! You could be the SK!'... The driver may have panicked realizing she could give a description of both him and the car, and so nabbed her further up the road to stop her telling the police. Am I correct in thinking CG was found clothed? Different to JR? But if course we don't know if SS was clothed or unclothed. The KK victim was unclothed.

I also am baffled why WAPOL told JC's family she may have been a victim of the CSK - unless they know something the public don't. To my mind, Kerry Turner seemed way more likely - a young woman gets into a car without any obvious struggle and body is found in bushland (clothed or unclothed? Any items missing? How did she die? Molested? -I don't think police released many details?) And now we know that she was picked up in a spot that would have been on the way home from city/ Northbridge etc to Huntingdale (if indeed the accused is guilty. Which of course he may not be).

She had Mallard staying on couch and he was stealing and impersonating police to impress her according to the pages I could read. That doesn't even mention him stealing the challis from Iona to impress her. Then she dobs him in and is Caporns source of information. Wow!

For me, the abduction of Jane R has always seemed different to the others as seamed to be a group of suspicious characters, IMO. From the descriptions I'd read about Michelle I had her as the black panted black top girl in the cctv for Jane. 20 sec of footage disappeared including black pants girl when Jane first exited the Conti and later black pants girls looks to be talking to poleman. If it was Michelle, was she being protected for some reason, or was someone so sure this black pants girl wasn't involved almost all footage of her was cut?

Not interested in storms three to five days after car recovered, the rest is like a summers day in England isn't it? JMHO

I myself have stronger connections to the accused and some of the victims (as I'm sure many posters do on here) that are purely circumstantial. You could base all sorts of interesting theories that link me into the case (probably even numerology and geographical plots if I bothered to look heehee!!) - but the links, as crazy as some of them seem, are nothing other than a coincidence that has come about by WA being a small place (which I'm sure is how Frankie came to be friends with the accused' brother - just circumstantial luck).

For those that may not know, Lawrence murdered in same street as Iona, across road from Sharon Mason body, 100 metres from French restaurant of CG, BREs second wife in 23 May 1994 I think. French restaurant closed in June 1994.

There was a wee bit more circumstantial than that. He was driving the Claremont block with a penknife under his seat. He picked up a female undercover police officer on Stirling highway. That's just the beginning. His parents had a petrol station very near by. He had two houses in Cottesloe, parents and his vacant beach side unit just up from where JCs car was found. It went on...

He did himself no favours. That was just one of the attributes in his circumstantial.
