Wark was involved in a motor bike accident later the same day of Hayley's disappearance - when he was on his way to Perth - I quote: “It’s the State’s case he was anxious to flee to Perth as quickly as he could … and create an alibi,” she said (Judge) Mr Wark was that night involved in a motorcycle accident and admitted to Royal Perth Hospital with minor injuries.

This perhaps should be posted on Hayley's websleuthing page. There are lots of articles about the perp Wark. Truth is WAPOL were throwing money & police into the CSK case - and, ignored poor Hayley's disappearance. It is disgraceful IMO

Off Topic post ;
Cold case review of 30 year old Rape & Murder case Victoria .
Poi would have been about 19 y/o at time .

I thought it is interesting enough to post somewhere .
WA connected , October 1987 era :

"Ms Yun's murder had remained unsolved until a cold case review led to detectives identifying the 49-year-old man, who lived in the Perth suburb of Thornlie, as "a person of interest."

Interesting development. If they know the car was de-registered it means they know who owned it at the time of the abduction.

Anyone find out the car's link to SS?

I can’t see them just stumbling across a car rego after all this time so it was most likely owned by the current POI or a family member. As I said above, They know who owned the car so I think the person lead them to the vehicle rather than the vehicle to the person. If that makes sense.

Maybe they want to find it so they can plant a necklace or something in there. [emoji23] if they have a POI why don’t they just stitch him up and announce he is the prime suspect like they do to everyone else.

Go to revs website and plug in the VIN. For $36 you can obtain a complete car history report. I have plugged in the number and it comes up as valid - Toyota Camry.

Sarah Spiers

http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/p...nce-and-suspected-murder-20180131-h0rnw4.html

“It was later revealed the driver of the car had noticed another car in his rear-vision mirror as he took off at the green light.”

The man later told police the car had appeared to turn its lights off, and he assumed it was Sarah's taxi.”

First time it has ever been mentioned that the driver who saw SS waiting for taxi saw the car that was stopped at lights behind him turn his lights off. MOO

That was my thought. Even though the general consensus was that it was a Commodore wagon, could it have been a Camry wagon? Why else would they mention it in the same article.

Hi! That’s really strange, can it identify who it’s registered to now then assuming it says it’s current? Police obviously can trace this.. do you think it’s a red herring?

No, the VIN is still current in that the car history is still available through REVS. Not currently registered but does show previous rego details etc.

Who is going to stump up the $31?

Who is going to stump up the $31?

Someone quickly set up a Go Fund Me Page:drumroll: Someone must have a contact in the motor industry / car yard / etc. 88mph are you good for $5 then, $31 - I'm good for $5 = $26 left (go Websleuths go)

I will stump up the $36.95 tonight and anyone who wants the results can flick me a 20 [emoji6]. That’s 45% off folks

Some info below on the VIN - would be good to know who owned the vehicle.
