Yes big time difference but location is a key I think.

Did he take SS to KK?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I apologise if i have incorrectly written a reply to this comment from spinnaker in regards to SS being taken to KK....
Perhaps thats true and she is still there... it would b a good place to hide her and there would be no risk in having to drive anywhere else. He may have been comfortable going to KK with his victims.

Many thanks to one of our top Super-sleuths for forwarding this…

1989 - Cottesloe incident. The man described as short-black hair, close cropped full beard, olive skin, hairy body and slight to medium build.

It would appear the victim was chosen at random – I can only guess she was taken completely by surprise. There’s no mention that the perpetrator said anything. My guess is he just, starred-hard at the victim.

Did she obtain his number plate. Was he driving his own vehicle.

"Did she obtain his number plate. Was he driving his own vehicle." ?

The way the newspaper story reads,
The victim was unable to get the rego plate possibly becos she immediately realized this perpetrator was an offender at Large and had to escape Pronto

Watch the video on this page from 3mins20secs into the documentary. It has footage of the search at LW place. Same car port and same car as the isolated screen grab taken by brevette.

This documentary came out well before the current accused was arrested.

FYI lampformypath you are quoting brevette yet talking to user Annalise. I would suggest a lack of attention to detail would be the main reason why the majority of regular contributors left this thread.

What happened to the great sleuthing and well done comments for you Billy ? All you tried to do was patiently provide details about the screen shot that was erroneously thought to be in BRE property and save all the grief of going down rabbit trails. Well done and thank you !

Twist - so Lampformypath used my name by mistake. Everyone knew who she meant. It’s hardly a crime. I’m sure BReVeTTe and billywhizz are well able to sort things out between themselves. Seems a bit trivial to make a big deal out of a mistake and because you think someone isn’t being praised enough. Chill🙄

Oh Dear.....can we please ALL play nice....PLEASE.

Just as a matter of interest the alleged CSK male family members are genetically predisposed to hairy chests, 5 o'clock shadow and beards by the time they are 21.

"Cropped full beard," not .
"olive skin and a hairy body", yes .
"slight to medium build." not .

Reasonable Doubt ?

Reasonable Doubt ?
It was in 1989,could have been slight to medium build (school photo looks slight to medium) - the beard is the defining factor - only those close to BRE would know this.

Otherwise another perp.

Its almost like someone had a ritualistic drive down the Cott coast road, not far from Beach st police made inquiries about via Eric st after trying to run people off the road, then down to Fremantle after sitting in the Cottesloe carpark?

I'm not marking his card for every crime in the area just pointing out likely hairy body, at various times possible prickly face and if left a few days the outline of a beard that can quickly be shaved off.

Victims and witness descriptions of height and body type often vary. I couldn't estimate correctly a persons height if my life depended on it.

Yes, welcome back Billywhizz and everyone who drops in and out of this forum. And agreed ESH (think I got that name right, doh!) let's all be nice, or I'll take my bucket and spade and never ever ever play in this sandpit again!

While watching the episode of Sunday Night posted by billywhizz https://au.news.yahoo.com/sunday-night/video/watch/28288354/the-claremont-killer-part-one/ one of the commonalities between the crimes were that the missing girls left alone. We know that SS, JR and CG left their group of friends and were alone.

The famous quote from the Rayney trial was
"Mr Rayney’s lawyer Martin Bennett: “Do you accept that the Claremont serial killer killings were random attacks
Sergeant Moore replied that he did not accept that: no, I can’t accept that proposition."

https://www.theaustralian.com.au/...claremont.../bbca989cb476faeb057b042380826366 the link is only available for subscribers.

The idea that perhaps the accused knew the victims and perhaps even groomed them eg with JR and her work location proximity to the cemetery.

Having 2 factors put together such as not random and the girls leaving alone could mean that there were other girls groomed but perhaps there was never an opportunity where they were alone. It could also mean that perhaps a suggestion that it is better to catch a cab/phone a cab near Stirling Highway and the girls are alone ready for the taking.

Less chit chat and more sleuthing, that's what I say! None of us really need to hear how good or bad we are, lets focus on the facts of the CSK and related cases.

Oh and for the record lamps - there have been no issues recently

As Sergeant Moore knew much more about the case than the public and was under oath to tell the truth we must presume what he said was correct.

I agree DRT about the "grooming"/or watching idea, because I think the girls do look quite alike, not identical of course, but so similar as to not be random. You know what has always bothered me about JR, that she left her friends and went back alone to the pub? At that age or any age really, I wouldn't have been game enough to be standing around alone in a pub with drunk blokes around. That's why I feel she really thought she was going to meet someone, at some stage again, later, that she wouldn't be alone for long. The CSK seemed to have a "type" and could have, as you say, groomed others too by bumping into them at the local HJs, Coffee Shops they went to, Post Office/Bank for an errand for work, a routine that could be observed and noted, the long game. There still could have been someone else with him in the car that perhaps ALL our Claremont girls knew who worked at the school/s they attended, who knows, a sports specialist or whatever that consulted at the schools regularly? And that person could have grown up with the CSK from teen years and had the same "interests" as the CSK. Stayed close and saw each other as drinking buddies/families knew each other for years, Speedway fans? JMO
