what are chances SS was blitz attacked as soon as she hung up the phone?


a three minute window in order to cross the road and stand in the wrong spot to be picked up for the direction she wanted to travel, get spotted by the only witnesses and also abducted is a bit unlikely.


could the witnesses in the car have seen her waiting at the lights before she had crossed the road to use the phone box? the car park with the dark tunnel next to the phone box behind the real estate agents is perfect for blitz attack. CG could have gone to use the phonebox as well and been done the same way. if she crossed road to use phone box the drunk guys would not have seen her as they were looking on the wrong side of the road.

it's a bit hard to tell because the info only came out 12 years later.

If I imagined I was the CSK my line of thinking would be:

I've blitzed someone at Rowe Park. It was a very successful rape. But leaving her alive increases risk of detection. This time I think I will kill them so that evidence deteriorates the longer the body isn't found. Rowe Park is a bit hit and miss. I could wait all night and a girl on her own may not walk past. I think a better option is the phone box on Stirling Rd. Girls heading to Peppy Grove, Cott and Mozzie Park might use that phone to call a cab <in reality he has probably stalked the phone box as a recon op while planning and fantasizing>.

There is a set of offices with a walk through to a small car park. Hidden from the main roads but a block of high rise units does look down onto it. This is my best spot to blitz a girl using that phone box. If I back my car up to the entrance of the walkthrough (in the car park) it will be hard for anyone see me put someone into the boot.

Waits a minute or two to get the green light and turns right onto the Hwy. Another car comes and turns into Chatsworth Tce. He then walks across the Rd, grabs Ss and frog marches her back across Stirling Rd to his car.

That just doesn't add up.

I also can't see the witnesses getting it wrong regarding which side of the road they saw SS.

I can't see SS being abducted any other way than jumping in that car that those witnesses saw.

Someone moving "off the tools" into a supervisory role. Not uncommon for trades and paraprofessionals - suggest technician of some sort. Possibly equipment servicing/maintenance.

In the Sunday Night Documentary, Adam Rimmer says that he didn't see the footage for 12 years- so in 2008. Either the family saw all of the video, including the bits inside where Jane is walking up and down the stairs, or they saw all of it but the bit with MM in it.

What possible reason would the police have to show the family all of the vision except the bit with the bloke they dont know. They included the bit where the camera turns back and she is gone- obviously its only my opinion, but my feeling is that the family were shown the footage at the time, including MM.

If that is true, then:
* AR saw the footage, but after a request from the police/doco makers said he didnt;
* AR saw the footage, but for another reason said he didn't;
* Some family members saw the footage, but AR was not one of them. We dont know, and I dont really want to know, what the family dynamics were at the time, or what they are now.

Frankie has been fairly persistent in claiming to be one of the men at the bus stop, and disagrees with the popular version that one of his friends called out to CG. I wish Frankie would try to become a verified insider, so we have any idea whether he is on the level or if he is having us on. (No offence intended Frankie- we are all anonymous on here).

Then there was the recent reports that police did not follow up on surveillance footage of cars on the night that CG went missing- which police took the remarkable step of denying, even though they have consistantly refused to comment on other reports for years. So why the denial on that one? Who actually released the leak in the first place?

I would not lie about this, this girl has been on my mind for nearly 20 years.

The impression I get is that the Rimmers aren't convinced that Macro/WAPOL have acted competently all the way through where as the Spiers and Glennons have unconditional faith.

Macro showed that footage to 700 people. I'd be very surprised if they didn't show it to the whole Rimmer family including Adam to see if any of them could identify MM. I can only see two options here; a) Adam Rimmer is lying, or B) because the whole MM footage was a red herring there was no need to ever show it to anyone in the first place.

As for Frankie - he would need to present some sort of proof that he is one the "bus stop 3". If he were one of the bus stop 3 I can't imagine he'd have a document proving it. Maybe a copy of his statement?

From memory she requested to be taken to South Perth (can anyone confirm or correct this?).

If I asked for a taxi to pick me up cnr Stirling Hwy and Stirling Rd, that's exactly where I would wait for the following reason:

Stirling Hwy is the main arterial between Perth's two biggest town centres (Perth and Fremantle). It's a major arterial. The likelihood the taxi would present from Stirling Hwy is much higher than it would from Stirling Rd. If the taxi appears from Fremantle direction then why pay if those lights go red? Better to wait outside BC Body Club. Waiting on the other corners across the Hwy (cnr Queenslea Dv) means you have to pay for the taxi to turn around (assuming you are heading to South Perth).

If she was going to her friend's place in Mosman Park then waiting outside CCGS would be the best spot.



On the taxi only taking 3-4 minutes to pick her up - unusual but there's a few reasonable explanations; pure chance - said taxi just finished a job nearby, and more likely - even though it was Australia Day, by 2am it had quietened down significantly.

One thing I think we can be quite certain of - she would have called the taxi and she would have been worried she might be standing there for a long long time.


The whole blitz theory just doesn't work for SS. JR is a maybe but would have had to walk away from Conti. CG is also a maybe but how do we explain the car? Did she not get in the car and the CSK (who was the driver of that car) go pull over ahead and then abduct her? Left at Richardson and back around to Corry Lynn Rd for the wait? How do we explain the bus stop 3 not seeing her after the car left? Did she duck into the bushes at CCGS to relieve herself?

They can't see. It's 250m away around a corner with up to 3 story buildings between line of sight.

I wouldn't be surprised if nearly all of them are the CSK.

The dates for Swanbourne Railway and Claremont Subway are both on new year's day (read: the night of new year's eve). Assuming the dates are correct.

papertrail - can you please confirm.

Surely those two attacks are the same person.

What can maybe be extrapolated from this:

1. If this guy had friends he'd be with them. Maybe he went out with friends, excused himself and then went and tried to rape women on his way home? Does this give us an indication of where he lives? These two and Lakeway Drive in are in same neck of woods.

2. He has chosen 2 big nights that many people celebrate to rape/attempt to rape women. SS also went missing on a big night (Australia Day)

Re SS's last seen position: which spot would have been the best lit? I think there is a chance that that would be the preferred waiting place for a young woman on her own, regardless of the direction she was heading. Just IMO.
