Hi, Debby. Tell us everything you know.

JK, is there anything you can tell us based on your husband's involvement with the searches? Can you elaborate on why you think someone at the ADF could be involved?

Have a relative based at the barracks. There is both full-time and part-time presence at the barracks. Girls get snuck in there more often than public realise. With essentially mall cops on the gate and patrolling.

Hubby was also on the James Godden search too.

Snippet from original news article . thanks to #papertrail who originally posted a year ago.

Following on from the previous poster regarding comment about 'activity at high levels' this little quote seemed odd

My hubby was on the search teams when he was in the SES. He was involved GR search, JR search, and SM search. Always thought possibility of someone at the ADF being involved was high. Just from little things I know about people sneaking into the base at Karrakatta.
R.Dorrough in the Navy .
A.Eravelly in aviation .
A soldier the night SS missing

Hello Debbie.
Where were the searches conducted for GR, JR & SM?
Was it your husband or yourself who thought someone at the ADF was involved?
Why do you think that sneaking into the base means involvement? How are the two things connected?

Some of the earlier articles gave me the impression that the taxi mess was cleaned up before CG.

Agreed mojoe , one thing of interest is the height description imo . Hypothetically if adf was involved then that soldier could have bumsteered LE ?
There is a big paragraphed single comment on a blog somewhere on google where someone says about 'the killer' ; words along the lines ; immigration, a malaysian link , gov coverup , people in powerful positions , a guy who cruised around murdoch uni stalking until 10pm then goes on to Claremont.
The writer (of post ) had been deported & couldn't get back in to oz at the time
It maybe a deluded rant but it did seem interesting due to the proffesional writing and references.
I can't remember where or find it now. It's 1or 2 page thread only .
was well written article with less than 10 comments attached below. Might be Bull-S . Edit: it was written before dyers or eravelly were charged .
Has anyone here ever read that ?

ormer Claremont Mayor, Peter Weygers, who was once named as "a person of interest" by police for the unsolved Claremont serial killings told Police Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan he had "ruined his life" during a bizarre run-in last week.

According to The Post Newspaper, Mr O'Callaghan and a photographer pulled up in a car outside a house Mr Weygers owned and was visiting briefly, sparking the former child psychologist to "tremble with fear".

"My first thought last Thursday was that the Commissioner himself had come to arrest me on camera," the 72-year-old told The Post.

"Either he was coming to apologise for the police leading people to believe I was the Claremont serial killer, or he was going to arrest me for it."

Mr Weygers said he had had post-traumatic stress since Mr O'Callaghan said publicly in 2004 that new evidence identified him as a person of interest in the unsolved 1990s disappearances of Sarah Spiers, Ciara Glennon and Jane Rimmer.

At the time, his Embleton house, the same house Mr O'Callaghan was at on Thursday, was sprayed with luminal, a poisonous chemical that glows in the dark if it reacts with blood, and another home he owned was searched in the full glare of media cameras.

The former Mayor has not been publicly cleared of any involvement in the Claremont serial killings, but The Post reported DNA samples of the offender recovered from the body of one of the victims did not match his, or any other known suspect.

Unbeknownst to Mr Weygers, Mr O'Callaghan had arrived at his house by coincidence, after a photographer for The West Australian arranged to meet him on the street to take a photo for a front-page story about children living in dysfunctional families.

The West Australian front cover page photograph police commissioner Karl O'Callaghan was taking when he unintentionally visited Mr Weygers house.

The group moved across the road from Mr Weyger's house for better lighting, with a police officer asking him if he would like to be introduced to the Commissioner.

"I couldn't miss the opportunity – I walked over and called the commissioner Dirty Harry," he told The Post - referring to a movie about a corrupt police officer.

"I said you have labelled me a murderer and terrified my wife and her child and totally destroyed my life."

He told The Post the Commissioner recalled the incident but said it was the major crime squad that was responsible for the investigation.

He declined to comment to Mr Weyger's account of their meeting.

rsbm my stance is "I don't know where it is". I always thought Stirling Rd more likely but have seen Davies Rd mentioned and guessed it came from a media article. I guess this is why I'm so particular on posters being clear whether their post is fact, probable or theory.

I think we best refer to it as "The golf course taxi attack" or something similar until we can confirm where it was.

As for the location of golf course attack , JMO ; street maps seem to show that either Stirling Rd or davies Rd possible "carpark attack zone" are Approximately the same distance (from the cbd club/bar where the victim alighted "taxi") to either of those golf course carparks The taxis 2 options are 1. drive west or the other is 2. drive ene ~ ( opposite) using Gugeri st.

Considering Davies rd is mentioned consistently regarding the assault then that option to have gone east-north to davies Rd is more likely imo .
There's isolated carparks off
Elliot Rd on the east side of Lake Claremont accessed by Davies Rd
If anyone has an interest to help hypothesize please do ? A bit of local knowledge expertise might point out an obvious factor that im unaware of regarding option 2. Driving thru karrakatta subway Onto Davies rd ? Would bartholemeus make an option map with pointers ? [emoji120] [emoji363]

Nope, it's the one and only piece of DNA information repeated again.
Ok thanks bart , that explains why there was no flurry here .
Why would P.weygers be shaking in fear ? Not trusting LE maybe...

Peter Kurten, did you see my question regarding an EAST location? Reading the old articles, one of the Profilers thought SS might be East?

Are you suggesting that the CSK snuck the girls into the barracks?

When your husband was helping to search for JR, was his team simultaneously searching for SS? They were searching for a body, correct?

I've always thought it strange that LE recognized a serial killer was on the loose immediately after Jane went missing. I believe the killer may have established contact with LE after SS and/or JR's abductions.
