I like the idea of the fishing trip alibi to the Mrs but have an issue with the KK attack. Would he be taking a Telstra vehicle fishing?
Im not down with the fishing trip theory. If you were using the guise of going fishing, surely you would take a boat. Begs the question..... if there was a boat then theres much better places to dump a body than in the bush. Just MO but i think its a stretch.

Not sure if answered yet: I believe it was in Carrington St Nedlands. Backs onto the cemetery.

Interesting place, that part of Carrington St. From the intersection at Loch Street down to the park at the bottom of the hill was once all light industrial. Garages, panel beaters, that sort of stuff on the cemetery side. Government Rd ran along the back of said units between them and the Cemetery. If you pulled off Loch St and drove about a hundred meters down Government Rd. no one would hear a thing.

So Julie Cutler changed into a black evening dress after the Parmelia Hilton Hotel work function?? Where was she going if that was the case?

I don't know about anyone else but this is the first time I have heard this info.

I'd like to know if it were left behind on the same night. IMO it's unlikely. Where it was found was a 5 min walk away from her work. Why would she drive and park somewhere else in the city? From memory she was seen leaving he work in her car.

There are unconcerned reports she was in a club called The Racquet Club on that night. The guy who made the claim also claimed this club was the hottest ticket in town. Credibility not off to a good start.

Used to go to CCGS. From memory there wasn't a break in the fence near the Art/Manual arts building so you couldn't have dragged someone onto the school grounds there. You'd have to have dragged her about 30 meters up Queenslea drive to the car par outside that building. There were plenty of bushes in that area. I've been thinking about the possible CG grab site for quite a while. Christ Church (the church) is pretty close to the bus stop outside HJ's, maybe only 100m, so if he grabbed her there he'd have had to king hit her or there likely would have been loud sounds of struggle, certainly yelling/screaming otherwise.

The school has changed a lot, that big car park along the side of the road was only built about 2006/7 ish. Until then that side of the school was all fenced off and grass (the long jump pits were along that edge) until the driveway that ran up to the back of the gym. The chaplain's residence was back there too but might not have been occupied in January. That area used to be quite dark and overgrown with bushes. Further up a little Corry Lynn Road would have also been a good grab site. All these places have changed a lot and don't look all that probable now.

Wherever he grabbed them he would have had to strike suddenly and hard, and had them hooded or gagged before they returned to their senses. Anywhere from the church onwards with a violent blitz attack would have been the way to go. SS's last sighting close to there suggests he liked that area.

As an insight to why CG may have been walking:- When taxis get really scarce and demand high your best bet is often to leave the busy area and try to catch one that's driving into the area to look for a fare before it gets there and twenty people try to hail it. Taxi ranks can get pretty nasty late at night, full of drunks with no manners wanting to go home NOW.

There was a low limestone wall the curved the corner right next to the lights. It went from the small staff car park on Queanslea Drive next to the manual arts building to around the corner on Stirling Hwy where the high wire fence started. On the other side of the wall was some grass with sporadic bushes and then the red brick with white trimmed windows arts building. A reasonable candidate for a blitz although if a blitz I like the car park behind the medical centre or Corry Lynn Rd.

After being in a relationship and not noticing the signs (or subconsciously choosing not to notice) it would be very possible that those close to him would either not notice or that they would find a more plausible explanation for any change in character.

Sure the partner may notice a character change but may brush it off either by things that have happened in the relationship or if they were in a relationship where the other partner was dominant may accept any reasonable sounding excuse given.

In reality how many people would even entertain the idea that there partner could be out abducting and killing women?

People are more likely to think about issues within the relationship or things that have happened during the day etc especially if something within the relationship is a trigger for the behaviour.

For those outside of the family unit the partner who is up to no good may even avoid seeing people that may be perceptive of any character changes and who would be inclined to look a little bit deeper.

They may also stop attending places where they may see these people, generally at the last minute with a plausible or lame excuse (eg: sickness) - say for instance on the weekend when an abduction occurred there may have been a BBQ or gathering that BE was invited to. Given what happened and his behaviour after, he may have feigned sickness (headache, belly ache etc) to avoid mingling with others and instead stayed home whilst CG and VD attended. If asked where BE was, all they had to say is BE was not feeling well and decided to stay home and no one would be none the wiser.

He was or still is Lloyd Rayney's lawyer as well.

Yep, the wire went to the corner and maybe a little on from there then there was a 'fence' of white wooden posts with chain running through them around the car park that you could have dragged someone over. Bushes all around. Probably more like 10 rather than 30 meters as long as you drag the captive over the chain and post fence which was only a foot high at the middle point of the chains. . Also at the church the bushes used to go up almost to the footpath. If you took someone there you could drag them around the rear of the church to a parked car on Queenslea Dr. Corry Lynn Rd as I mentioned would be safer, or the CCGS gym driveway, but then if he took SS on Stirling Rd. he wasn't being shy.

I finished in 1980, so I wouldn't likely know him. My younger brother (7 years) may well, but he's in Iraq atm. What's the brief's name? Was it something like Van Dongen? I've seen it reported somewhere.

He finished in 1986. Was a prefect and in the winning Head of the River Crew. Your younger brother would know him.

Motive, Means & Opportunity. Some ask whether he need an excuse for the wife. Not if she worked on weekends in her family's restaurant. My aunt had a restaurant in Baskerville once. My wife and I helped out on weekends, we'd often finish up in the wee small hours after washing up the dishes etc. We could of stayed in my aunts house to save the commute but we had pets to feed. I'd expect BE's wife might of done same staying with family near the restaurant. Anyone know the opening hours back then? Add 2 hrs for the wash up. BE might of had opportunity, even if he had to pick his wife up from work after the crime. Hate to imagine where he stored the body if he did thou

I'm with you on Corry Lynn rd. Maybe the girls had no luck with cabs and started off southwest along Stirling hwy. he spots them as he's driving by and pulls into the car park on Corry Lynn and prepares himself. He waits for them there and blitz at their most vulnerable point.

Before they can scream they're bound, hooded and in the vehicle. It worked for him with KK, why stop there.

While very loosely similar, this one was brought up on a previous thread as a potential CSK case due to the last known location, a"Telstra phone booth". I'm yet to be convinced either way but just putting it out there.

For sure, brother was a rower, good enough to do specialised post school rowing stuff at the institute of sport facility near Perry Lakes. I'll pick his brains next time I see him.

No, it can also be forfeited if it used in the commission of a prescribed offence ...

Only if the property was obtained through proceeds of crime would it be seized by the Government.

I imagine he'll have to sell everything to fund his legal team - unless they're funded or he has major savings.

I could not agree more !!!!

I think you have the timeframe wrong. As far as we are aware no more killings occurred after his relationship blossomed with CG and they possibly started living together. Again, this is why it is more than likely his devious ways were more prominent inbetween relationships. CG's facebook profile actually shows him at a gathering with her so by this time he wasn't so concerned about socialising.
