On the topic of women leaving marital homes- I did this (with children) because I had no choice. I wanted to leave, he wouldn't go anywhere. It was a powerplay on his part. It was just another act in an ongoing pattern of control and lack of empathy. After I left he locked all the gates with huge chains and padlocks.

Edited to add this: it was a brutal and soul destroying experience that wouldn't wish on anyone. It took great courage, financial sacrifice and almost broke me. I had to leave with what I could get in one day so many of my precious items were left behind and never returned - he refused to let me have them.

If this is the case here then I have a keen understanding of what those women went through and how tough it may have been. It is not a decision made lightly.

Regarding children in this situation - mine think their father is the best person in the world. They were fed (and continue to be fed) misinformation about me that leads them to question me often.

Final edit to add this: if my ex husband was arrested and charged with murder, my children (and his parents and siblings) would deny his involvement to their last breaths. If I expressed the feeling that he was guilty I would be the one criticized and condemned.

Thought my insights may be valuable.

You know, that's a story I have heard all too often from women over the years. Very similar story from a work colleague in the last six months. Sad!

Hmm, current wife French. First wife ethnicity not confirmed.
But that's only what he apparently told his work colleagues according to my old school friend when he asked why BRE wasn't staying overnight in the motel that Telstra was paying for when they were working in Waroona. "His wife wants him home, she's real domineering".
Doesn't prove that she was,
Only proves that he wasn't staying with the rest of the Telstra crew over the weekend in Waroona.
And obviously he must've done this more than once for his team's colleagues to tell my old school friend this who was on anther team under BRE's dad.
But it could be a convenient excuse for him to do his own thing on the occasional weekends when working away with Telstra.
Who knows what he was really doing?

Exactly. Always easier to use spouse as a reason to do/not do something. Also as has been reported he is intensely private & not one to socialise. An overnight stay, would have been challenging at the least. Trueblue2017 did say when asked if either wives were supportive of him, that he thought it best NOT to comment on that.

I've known of female victims of domestic violence who keep their married name once they leave their abuser.
Not all female victims run out and change their names.
Legally changing names takes time, effort, and I'm guessing, legal fees. Usually victims of DV have more important things to focus on like staying safe, finding a new place to live, getting a job, making sure their kids are okay, getting sleep at night, recovering from trauma, seeing a psychologist or therapist, processing court and/or divorce proceedings, fighting for custody of their children, worrying about money and how they will support themselves and their kids, and generally rebuilding their lives.

Just because CGE still uses E surname I don't believe that it's indicative that DV did NOT occur.

Plus CGE may have kept her FB profile pic of her and BRE as per recommendation of his lawyer. Removing the pic could be presumed an indication of suspicion and/or guilt.

Just my thoughts

Great post, absolutely agree. Just to add, taking a lot of these actions (legal, mediation agreements etc.) actually often results in an escalation of abusive behaviour when perpetrators feel like they are losing control, but also feel victimised themselves and that their abusive behaviour is justified because 'the system isn't fair' and 'she deserves it' etc. So there's many times when victims don't take various actions because they know that it will actually end up making things harder for them when they're already utterly worn down as it is while often still trying to just keep it together and be a mother. Sometimes, unless there's significant safety concerns, victims will still worry about not wanting to deprive their kids of a relationship with their dad, even though he may use the kids as pawns in various controlling plays, and the abuse and power and control can go on for years long after the relationship has ended.

Today i drove from stirling rd to government rd entrance of karrakata cemetery. Took a little over one minute. That street would be completely empty after 6 pm

Hey Frankie
When was the last time you were interviewed by the police?
Have police contacted you since the arrest?

"Some of the items on his list that were confiscated from Gacy’s home were: A jewelry box containing two driver’s licenses and several rings including one which had engraved on it the name Maine West High School class of 1975 and the initials J.A.S; A box containing marijuana and rolling papers; Seven erotic movies made in Sweden; Pills including amyl nitrite and Valium; A switchblade knife; A stained section of rug; Color photographs of pharmacies and drug stores; An address book; A scale; Books such as, Tight Teenagers, The Rights of Gay People, Bike Boy, Pederasty, Sex Between Men and Boys, Twenty-One Abnormal Sex Cases, The American Bi-Centennial Gay Guide, Heads & Tails and The Great Swallow; A pair of handcuffs with keys; A three-foot-long two-by-four wooden plank with two holes drilled in each end; A six mm. Italian pistol with possible gun caps; Police badges; An eighteen-inch rubber dildo was also found in the attic beneath insulation; A hypodermic syringe and needle and a small brown bottle; Clothing that was much too small for Gacy; A receipt for a roll of film with a serial number on it, from Nisson Pharmacy; Nylon rope."

John Wayne Gacy was responsible for 33 murders and his trophies included driver's licenses belonging to victims and jewellery.

Is it possible that the alleged CSK BRE collected driver's licenses of his alleged victims?
Considering the driver's license of the KK victim was found near abduction site.

WAPOL noted items missing from CSK victims include: silver claddagh brooch, small satchel handbag, and sunflower keyring.
