Hi CV - the fact the timeline commences at 1986 does NOT imply that BRE is responsible for all the crimes listed, similarly does not mean that there is one perpetrator.

It is a record of events and for info purposes and in order to connect the dots where appropriate and to assist in people's research.

Bit of background, a lot of sleuths have contributed to the content as far as facts are concerned - facts which have been gathered over quite a significant time. I am very appreciative of the content and the time and effort which went into gathering and reporting this data!

I agree with your thoughts about the phone call and that there is a possibility that JC was held hostage, otherwise there was a woman involved impersonating JC. Also perhaps that the BLF (Brave Little Fiat) could have been stored locally.

28 May 1988 - women abducted from Sheraton, beaten and assaulted dumped corner of leach Highway & Centenary Drive - possibly driving a small yellow Toyota.
Early June 1988 - 15 year old girl assaulted Mirrabooka Avenue - a woman in yellow Toyota took her to Mirrabooka shopping centre
20 June 1988 - JC, last seen leaving Pamelia Hilton 12:30am, BLF found near Cottesloe groyne on the 22 June, 1988.

According to this article http://www.communitynews.com.au/western-suburbs-weekly/news/council-rejects-bid-for-old-works-depot the old Quarry in Cottesloe was used up until early 2000's for Council Storage of mowers and such equipment.
Maybe the occasional storage of car bodies found in the shire too. An extra one for a few days might go unnoticed.

iMO, the fact HE was found FACE DOWN in the rocks, "NAKED", in the MiDDLE of WiNTER, virtually on the doorstep of what turned out to be a major crime - i would rule out most of the above given causes for "sudden death" ...with the exception of murder (and/or a possible transport disaster?)

I was excited too. I do remember thinking at the time wow it must be related. I do think if there was an unrelated shark attack that month at Cottesloe the Daily News would have made it part of the conspiracy. The BLF attracted the shark.

I am not totally adverse to it being related in all honesty I want this to be related to the CSK and always considered it was. I wasn't as curious at the time to be looking so closely at the articles that were in the newspapers at the time but was interested at the time in JC going missing probably because of the Birnies. I also had a friend whose cousin was at the event at the time. I wish I had got some details from her then.

I do want to say again the "Leeuwin Current" which flows strongest in our autumn /winter, flows Southward !

So about 800 metres directly North of the location of the deceased man is cottesloe groyne.
In the ocean things travel much further than a mere 800m with the current.

It does seem suspicious in my opinion.

September 1985 - Prowling at Southern River near Richard Rushton Comm Centre (ie along river pathway). Riding bicycle, either after school or after sporting sessions. Several incidents reported to police, thus police commence searching for perpetrator described as being tall, with short dark hair who wore glasses.

December 1985 - 17th birthday - perhaps had driving lessons for obtaining a drivers license.

1986 - Started work at Telecom (later to become Telstra)

Add Victoria Clarke April 1987. BRE evidence found at scene. Evidence forgotten about when Masters confessed to “savage and unrelenting” killing of VC in 1991. Another one for the lucky SK basket.

Vanessa Devlin 24[SUP]th[/SUP] June 1988. Man was seen arriving in a metallic green Datsun 240c sedan and is believed to be the last person to see her alive… It had mag wheels, stickers on the rear windscreen and black and yellow registration plates. 15 year old girl subjected to attack - Note the mention of a woman picking the girl up after the attack and driving a yellow Toyota!

Making the assumption that this was related, I was going to suggest that body decomposition after a few weeks may be too much until I read this. It may only take one person to dump a body at a later date but maybe 2 to dump a car. Each may have occurred at different times. Someone fearless enough to dump a car off the Cottesloe groyne would think nothing about dumping a body.

I was looking at some photos of South Cottesloe beach but more from the perspective that maybe he was pushed from a height. Looking at the article he was found near Gibney Street which is close to the South Cottesloe groyne.

Does a person end up face down from a push or are they placed face down. It does mention a steep slope but I assumed more of sand dune but from google earth there appears to be some rocky areas particularly closer to the car park steps closer towards Cottesloe groyne. I found a few photos on this blog that are more of South Cottesloe.

I am new to this group. Never posted. How do you add approximate year 1989. Can't remember very young. Riding bike across bridge at Richard rushton centre huntingdale. Person that looked like BRE masturbating on the floor on concrete foot path. Richard rushton centre used have clinic sister there. Was very scared. He jumped up fast gave a weird stare. Did apprenticeship involve being on job and going to Tech School one day a week like now, or did you attend Tech full time. Do you mean finished at end of 1988 and other courses done in 1989? Were these extra courses part time while working (Eg. one day a week?), or blocks of study time?

Probably after doing apprenticeship at Ley St, Como finishing in 1988 does extra courses at Telecom technical School in William St, North Perth (which specialises in handset repairing)

I wasn't aware this may be contentious. I am looking with fresh eyes and hadn't seen the information and evidence before or discussed it as some of you may have.

However, as I understand BRE's DNA? was left at the scene of VC's murder and this is as close as to a fact you can get. The same evidence (DNA?) left at the VC's sexual assault and murder was found left at the site of the Huntingdale assault in Feb 1998, on a kimono. The kimono was paraded on the front page of the West Australian just after the Huntingdale attack because of the strong evidence (DNA?) linking the two crimes.

The cops were convinced if they knew who's DNA it was they would have VC's murderer, and said so. The same evidence (DNA?) has now been used to link KK rape and murders of CG and JR and proved to belong to BRE before he was charged with those crimes.

Lucky for BRE no one knew who the DNA belonged to in 1988.

David Troy Masters was caught for murdering a 21 year old backpacker in Katherine in May 1991, he strangled her after attempting to rape her. He then confessed to murdering VC, which was described as a savage and unrelenting sexual assault and murder. Cops have never said whether they had any evidence on Masters for VC so I assume they had but he confessed anyway, which was very lucky for BRE. The evidence (DNA?) linking BRE to VC and Huntingdale assault was put away and forgotten for a long period of time.

Female accomplice or testing who had the ability to sexually assault females, maybe? I don't know any bloke that would have owned a small yellow Toyoto in those days. Does anyone know how the victim taken from the Sheraton and bashed for three hours was taken? Was the yellow car involved then, was there one or two? You would have to be very experienced to single handily abduct someone and disable them while driving to a spot to bash them IMO.
Anyway with the little yellow Toyota featuring in the news twice in three weeks for serious assaults I think she would have wanted to get rid of it very quickly. Hide for a while then cheap sale for an unsuspecting other? Or drive across the Nullabor to use or get rid of there perhaps?

My view is a female accomplice.
